Welcome to Europamundo! Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.

We come into contact with the history of France in the immense Palace of Versailles with its beautiful gardens. Admission included. After that, on our way back to Paris, we head to Montmartre, and take a cable car (included) to go up to this bohemian neighborhood known for its painters, artists and cabarets. To contemplate the beauty of the impressive avenues and monuments of Paris, you will have the city tour with a local guide. Return to the hotel. Optionally you can attend the variety show.

Very important note: during the Olympics games dates, that will take place in Paris between July 23rd and August 11th, we cannot guarantee accommodation in this city and its very likely that the stay will be in a nearby location. In this case, Europamundo will offer the necessary transfers so that the services can be carried out and you can enjoy the city in the best possible way.

We go to the center of Paris, starting by the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to go up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket included). Then we enjoy a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose.
Note: in some cases the waits to go up the Eiffel Tower are long. Thus the climb may take place at a different time (or on Sunday), if it is considered convenient for organizational reasons.

Today we travel to the center of France, to the Bourgogne region, famous for its wines. We will visit BEAUNE, located in the center of the Bourgogne region, with its streets full of flowers, hospice and wine museum all points of interest. Continuing on, we will arrive to LYON in the afternoon, the capital of Roman Gallia on the banks of the Rhône (its historic center has been declared a World Heritage site). We include a cable car climb to Notre Dame de Fourvière, where we have a great view of the city. Enjoy some leisure time to walk around.

Note: in some cases a part of the group will be accommodated in Chambery, a city near Lyon. In these cases we will leave at the evening for CHAMBERY and accommodation. We will then have some time early in the morning to visit the capital of Savoy, a medieval-style city with beautiful historic center and a large castle.

We have a beautiful day today. We travel to Switzerland. GENEVA, time to walk in this Swiss city on the shores of its lake. After that we continue the route towards the highest peaks in Europe: the Alps. A long tunnel under Mont Blanc takes us to Italy. MILAN, arrival in the afternoon. With our guide we will go to the impressive Piazza del Duomo. Time to walk through its historic center.

We leave Milan following the rich plain of the Po River. VENICE - Arrival at about 13 hrs. Transfer by boat to the St. Mark´s area. In the afternoon we include a city tour of Venice. Optionally we suggest you to complete your time with a gondola ride. Accommodation in the Mestre area.

Día en FLORENCIA, por la mañana incluimos una visita panorámica de la ciudad durante la cual conoceremos sus principales atractivos. El centro histórico de la ciudad, las bulliciosas plazas, los puentes sobre el río Arno, las compras en sus mercadillos. Sobre las 16:30 h salimos hacia ROMA, llegada al final de la tarde.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: City tour of Rome. Night transfer to Trastevere area.

We will enjoy a panoramic tour to give you an introduction to the Eternal City, finishing at St Peter’s in the Vatican, where you will be able to visit the Basilica and museums. In the evening, we transfer to the Trastévere, the busy city district well known for its typical restaurants. Return to hotel.

Free time the whole day to keep exploring the city. Today we suggest you take an optional excursion to Naples, Capri and Pompeii.

Today we travel towards the Adriatic Sea, the landscapes of the Apennine Mountain range are magnificent. TERMOLI, a charming city by the sea whose beach is dominated by the walled old town and where its 13th century castle and Romanesque cathedral stand out. Time for lunch and a walk. We continue towards MONTE SANT´ANGELO, a world heritage site and a place of pilgrimage throughout history, its Romanesque sanctuary located in a cave guarding tombs since the 6th century. Have a walk through the medieval center of the town. We continue to TRANI, “the pearl of the Adriatic”, a magnificent city that embraces the sea and displays its pink Romanesque cathedral. Continuation to BARI, accommodation.

After breakfast we have time to walk through the old town of BARI, a port city inhabited since before Roman times. Its narrow streets, its churches, its lively life make it a very special city. Later we continue to BRINDISI, where we take a modern ferry (scheduled departure at 13:00 hrs.) with which we cross the Ionian Sea. Arrival in IGOUMENITSA, in Greece, after the 8-hour crossing. Accommodation.

Note: During the ferry journey you will have to carry your luggage with you. If the group of passengers is not large, during the journey they will travel without an accompanying Europamundo guide. A new guide will be waiting for you upon arrival.

Tras el desayuno viajamos entre altas montañas por el Epiro hacia METSOVO, pintoresco y turístico pueblo balcánico entre montañas. Esta zona, aislada por las montañas del resto de Grecia, conserva su cultura diferenciada muy influenciada por la eslava y la turca. Tiempo para pasear por sus calles con su arquitectura tradicional de casas de piedra, techos de tejas rojas y balcones de madera tallada. Continuamos hacia la región de Tesalia. Paramos en KASTRAKI, pintoresco pueblo con hermosas vistas sobre el valle de las Meteoras. Tiempo para almorzar. Conocemos las METEORAS, impresionante lugar declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad. La palabra "Metéora" proviene del griego y significa "suspendido en el aire" o "en el cielo”. Impresiona la presencia de monasterios en la cima de algunas de inmensas formaciones rocosas. Durante siglos, los monjes y ermitaños buscaron la tranquilidad y la soledad en estos lugares aislados. Conoceremos todo el valle e incluimos la entrada a uno de los más famosos monasterios. We will travel south through the Thessaly region. We will arrive in DELPHI after enjoying the view of wonderful landscapes. We include admission to the beautiful archaeological complex that overlooks the Gulf of Corinth with incredible landscapes, time for lunch. After that we travel to the OSIOS LOUKAS MONASTERY, one of the most beautiful Byzantine monasteries in Greece, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its magnificent 11th century mosaics are incredible. We continue towards ATHENS. Arrival in the evening.
