Salimos de Madrid, viajamos hacia Extremadura. En CÁCERES podrá almorzar y pasear por su centro histórico, uno de los conjuntos urbanos medievales y del renacimiento mejor conservados del mundo. Ya en Portugal pararemos en ÉVORAciudad declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad con sus calles blancas, sus palacios renacentistas y su catedral, incluiremos la entrada a la impresionante Capilla de los huesos, construida con 5000 esqueletos.

On this day we will travel through Alentejo’s beautiful landscapes. We will stop in MARVAO, a quite picturesque little walled town that offers a fantastic vista of the region. Afterwards, we will visit CASTELO DA VIDE, its castle and old Jewish quarter. We will have a chance to visit the old synagogue (a museum today) or wander around this town’s maze of quaint streets. After lunch, we will continue to TOMAR, a town over which CONVENT OF CHRIST looms, an old castle-convent where Templar Knights lived. Ticket included. Arrival in FATIMA. We will first go to ALJUSTREL, the village where the three little shepherds were born. We will have a chance to visit Casa de Lucia. Afterwards, visit to SANTUARIO DE FATIMA where you may watch the Procissão das Velas (Candlelight Procession, not celebrated in winter). Dinner included.

We will travel to northern Portugal. Arrival PORTO – Portugal’s second largest city – around eleven in the morning. Sightseeing tour of this city on the bank of Duero river and its historic centre included. We also include a visit to the old cellars. Free time.

Hoy tenemos bonitos paisajes en el norte de Portugal. Un paseo por BRAGA, capital religiosa de Portugal con su antigua catedral. Subimos en el funicular más antiguo del mundo al Santuario del BOM JESÚS, hermosísimas vistas, sugerimos bajar caminando admirando su bellísima escalinata. GUIMARAES fue la primera capital de Portugal, su Palacio de los Duques nos lo recuerda. Tiempo para almorzar. Hermosísimos paisajes llenos de viñedos bajando al valle del Duero. Pasamos por SABROSA lugar donde nació Magallanes. En PINHAO conocemos su maravillosa estación de tren con todos sus azulejos e incluimos un pequeño crucero de aproximadamente una hora en el Rio Duero (Nota: De noviembre a marzo no opera el crucero, realizándose un trayecto por la carretera panorámica con paradas en miradores siguiendo el margen del Duero) Continuamos a COIMBRA, llegada al final del día. Cena incluída en el hotel.

Tiempo en COIMBRA, la tercera ciudad de Portugal conocida por su antigua Universidad y calles empinadas llenas de encanto. Seguimos hacia el sur, paramos en el MONASTERIO DE BATALHA (entrada incluida), impresionante edificio medieval mausoleo de reyes. Tiempo para almorzar y pasear en NAZARÉ, ciudad pesquera y balnearia. Incluimos el “elevador” que nos sube a la ciudad antigua con vistas impresionantes del Océano. Ya en ruta a LISBOA paramos en ÓBIDOS, uno de los pueblos más bonitos de Portugal, con sus calles blancas llenas de flores. LISBOA, llegada sobre las 19:30h.

In the morning we will have a sightseeing tour with a local guide. We will visit the tra­ditional neighborhoods including the Belem district, which is the birthplace of the great Portuguese navigators who sailed the oceans in the Fifteenth Century. We will have a look around the Monument of the Discoveries, Belem Tower, and the beautiful Jeronimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy the free afternoon when you are free to explore the city at your own leisure. In the late afternoon, we will have a transfer to the Restauradores Square, a public square with plenty of restaurants and cafes. We suggest you ride the Elevador Da Gloria funicular that takes you to the viewpoint of San Pedro with beautiful views over Lisbon and the Bairro Alto. Return to the hotel.
