Our flight from LAX was cancelled twice. The airline was unable to get us a room anywhere for the first cancellation due to all being full at our late hour. For the second they accommodated us by providing a room here. From walking in the door we were treated with dignity and respect. Staff truly showed empathy toward our peril, very welcoming. Hotel is very clean, rooms comforting, pillows perfect. All staff was very helpful. Hotel restaurant was fantastic and the bartender was such a pleasure to sit with. Very, very pleased with this business.

For the most part, I had a wonderful stay here. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and polite. The atmosphere and food in the restaurant are great. The rooms are clean and spacious. Also, I like the decorations in the lobby. The front desk staff checked me in quickly and even allowed me to check in early! The only reason I can't give the hotel five stars is that I waited for the airport shuttle for 25 minutes, and when he finally arrived, he did not even stop to check if any of the ten people standing to wait for the airport shuttles were waiting for his hotel. He was driving fast when he was approached, so I came forward with luggage in both hands. I couldn't wave my hands and didn't think I needed to anyway, as I thought he would stop. He sped off fast, and I was in shock. So I called the hotel, and they called him right away to have him return. It took him another 15 minutes to return because the traffic at LAX was so bad. So my only suggestion to the hotel is to ensure that the drivers properly stop at every hotel pick-up station at the airport.

Terrible experience. On July 31 my wife and I had a flight cancellation. United Airlines gave us a voucher to use at a hotel near LAX - either Four Points or the Gateway. My wife mistakenly selected Four Points when she meant to select Gateway. When we arrived at Four Points we checked in but decided we would stay at the Gateway. We told the clerk and they checked us out and gave us back the voucher to use at the Gateway. We stayed at the Gateway. No problems. Everything was fine. Then, on August 24, I saw a charge on my credit card for $109.22 by Four Points. Why did they charge me? I emailed the hotel, and never got a response. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. Four Points did not admit fault. They sent a bill to my credit cards claiming one night's stay on July 22. That is fraud. They should be ashamed of themselves. Either they are shady or completely incompetent in their billing department at Four Points. I travel a lot and have never experienced such ridiculous behavior. As if I wouldn't notice the charge. That's theft.

We checked in late at night and were only using the hotel to sleep, so when the room smelled vaguely like stale smoke, we let it slide. This hotel is old. Very old. So I didn't think anyone had smoked in it recently, it was just something we dealt with. In the morning during checkout, I found trash underneath my nightstand that was left from a previous customer. Unfortunately, when we went to check out and complain the entire hotel had experienced a power surge and they were unable to even check us out. The entire staff seem flustered. The parking lot of the hotel was very rough and with tax it cost $46 to park overnight. If you need to catch an early flight, you can't beat the conveniences of this hotel. However, for nearly $150 a night I'd expect a little more put together room. The Sheraton/ Marriott logo normally means a base level of quality and this place falls short. That being said, beds were comfy, blackout curtains worked wonders (our room faced east) and it was a neat view at night to see the planes coming in. Construction started at about 7am on the building/ parking lot next door. The hotel could be great, it just needs a little love. I wouldn't choose to stay here again, but it wasn't the worst place to stay considering how expensive LA can be.

Free hotel shuttle every 30 min ( from 4 am to 2 am). Very important and efficient. Rooms very spacious, bathroom was small but there everything we need. Rooms were not equipped with fridge. Complimentary water and coffee. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Not sound proof at all! The staff didn't care about sleeping time and didn't ask to be quiet and didn't make noise (we could hear neatly the person of the bedroom besides talking over the phone). The chambermaid knocked at the door and opened it even if we were in. Very disappointed! Hope it wouldn't happen again!! (We were tired after a long flight and would appreciate to sleep till late, not being waken up at 7!!) Breakfast was supposed to be included, we paid for it but it was not! At the reception they just said "we don't offer breakfast anymore" (didn't offer any refund!)

If I could give this hotel one star I would. Starting off with checking in, none of the employees there were able to help me and other guests look for our room we were lost for more than an hour walking around to only find out that the employees were giving us the wrong directions. After the hour went by we finally found our room because a kind security guard was able to direct us to a different elevator. Now once we went into our room we noticed it was extremely hot, however we couldn’t turn down the AC because it didn’t work. To add on the tub clogged up with water when showering. Being so exhausted we just wanted to relax and sleep for the night for the next day. Since the bathroom was lacking towels and water we decided to call customer service for help. We called multiple times, five of which an employee answered and mentioned we were going to be receiving our items soon. Acknowledging the amount of people that stay there we understand how busy it may get however we waited the entire night and no one ever showed up. Not to mention our TV didn’t work there was no microwave included and there were stains in the bedroom such as on the sheets on the walls even though it is a non-smoking hotel. The worst part is that there was a water leakage on the carpet. We basically were stepping on wet carpet outside of the bathroom where we had to lay out our only towels available. Overall, it was a very bad experience because you would like to think that for the money that you pay to stay at a semi-decent hotel you would get good customer service in return. This hotel does not satisfy. I do not recommend this place.

10minute wait for an elevator only to get to a room that other people are already in. Our key worked and we walked in on people watching TV. How does your system allow you to double book guests to a room? Unacceptable. Now back to the front desk with luggage and back up again for another 10minute wait. Don’t stay here. No response from Sheraton on this at all.

If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit HotelBuIIy. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere! Smooth check in. Clean room. The shuttle to the airport was efficient. It is a 5 or 10 minute walk from the car rental places so it was convenient to return our car and walk to the hotel. It has a nice little restaurant and bar area. Good gym with dumbbells, some universal machines, and treadmills. I was happy with the hotel.

This place is not bad at all and in a very convenient location and very close to the airport. I’ve actually stayed here on 2 separate occasions and they haven’t failed me yet. Very nice and peaceful location and the staff is very friendly. Haven’t stayed long enough to try the breakfast yet I’m gone before that even opens. But I will definitely go back when I’m back in town.

My Quantas flight developed engine trouble. They put us up here at 3am in the morning. All one million passengers. The desk was cool, professional and friendly. The work ed though the massive line quickly and efficiently. Then in the morning the van driver did a heroic job getting us back to the airport! Super Duper Service with a GREAT breakfast!!!

Smooth check in. Clean room. The shuttle to the airport was efficient. It is a 5 or 10 minute walk from the car rental places so it was convenient to return our car and walk to the hotel. It has a nice little restaurant and bar area. Good gym with dumbbells, some universal machines, and treadmills. I was happy with the hotel.
