Jenny at the front desk is fantastic! She went above and beyond to help us during our stay! The breakfast is excellent, very fresh and delicious food recharging and refreshing you at the beginning of each busy day! Location of hotel is great, so close and convenient to all attractions, food, and shopping! Room is clean, pool is fun! However, for an old hotel, the room, parking, and the fitness room are a bit small, but understandable for its age and downtown location.

I visited Holiday inn during high season and booked a week or so before my travel dates. Prices are very expensive but less than other hotels in the area. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was very welcoming and offered a free breakfast voucher, suggested some activities to do based on on going festivals in the area. The breakfast was not very fancy but it was okay. I had past experiences with other hotels in the area better ranked than holiday inn but I must say they are marketing only and my experience with holiday inn was much much better.

We are only staying one night but I must say, the service at the front desk is to be congratulated. We were luck and allowed to have an early check-in. The room was small, but nicely decorated and really clean. The bathroom was even smaller but it was well arranged to increase the free space. The bed is super comfy and this hotel is well situated for shopping and walking around. Parking is not crazy expensive, $30/24hr, considering you are right in the thick of it. Great place to stay.

The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is good. The room is very small and dated for the price. Way overpriced for the size and age of room. Ours was supposed to be a suite? They put us in a room directly below construction? The noise was so loud from 9 am until 6pm that we both got headaches, not to mention you literally had to scream to talk to each other in the room. It was impossible to get any work done or sleep after 9am. They should not even be renting these rooms out until the construction is finished. When we went to the front desk to tell them they said they knew but could offer no compensation because we booked through a third party! I measured the sound level at 98db in the room. That is actually past the threshold for hearing damage? Until construction is finished I suggest you go somewhere else or make sure you check and get a room far away from the construction zone.

Chose this location based on my son living around the corner. Room looked recently renovated, was clean, a bit small but for the amount of time spent was perfect. Lobby was bright and clean, front desk staff were efficient and friendly. Free buffet breakfast was included. Underground parking is very tight, beware if you have a larger vehicle. Definitely not a deal breaker. Will stay again when visiting my son

The room is clean and nice. The only thing is the way they serve the breakfast. Most of the people waited way longer than usual that some just canceled it. The location is really good though.

Nice place, pleasant staff. Breakfast was very good. The only reason we didn't rate it a 5 is that the window in our room was drafty and so the room was cooler than we wanted.

Close to College Station. Free ample breakfast is good! Nice clean room. It does have everything you need. One subway stop to Eaton center or just walk there. Staff are very nice and welcoming. Rooms may be on the small compared to other hotels but has everything you need. Very cosy. I would stay again!

Very nice place, love the design of rooms. Staff very professional and nice but remebee they follow very strict rules. If you you forgot your ID I know its important thing but still. I had my id on my phone scan of it but they will ask physical one. I said I lost it , begged them , offered more money nope. I understand tho. Great place to stay. Thank you!

Nice hotel but they are doing renovations. We were not told this when we booked. We requested an early check-in and a queen bed. Got two doubles and rolled eyes and told $30 charge for early check-in. Room changed to a king and told we would have a corner room so small window. Room clean and nice. Good bathroom and closet space. Did not get a chance to use the gym or pool but they look nice. Room has a tiny window any no natural light. See picture. Fridge does not work as no electricity to the unit. So we had no opportunity to keep food or drinks in our room. They tried to fix it twice but could not. Only offer is to move us. Really did not want to repack so let it go. No other offers. Few ice machines in the building working so you really have to work for ice. Lots of construction workers in the building so you may have to wait for an elevator. Also work up to drilling this morning. Not good after a night out. Staff at the restaurant were amazing and we so nice and helpful. I would give this place a skip. Not worth the price. Not impressed with desk staff.
