“Fabulous staff. Super accommodating and friendly when I asked to change rooms a few times (I have a sensitive nose), really late check-out, gave me free drinks at the cafe, stored my bags. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Hotel is in process of upgrading things but it's totally fine. Nice central location”

“I stayed at the Marriott City Centre in Bristol for 3 weeks so take that into account with my review (I had a lot more time to notice the little things). If I’m in Bristol again I would definitely return. The good: the staff are lovely, the exec lounge is usually well appointed, rooms are large for the uk, and the nightly rate is fair. Beds are comfortable, toiletries provided were great, and the park views lovely. Honestly I’m a bit sad to leave because even with the minor issues I’ll outline the staff are super friendly and always worked to help me out when needed. The bad: the carpet is dated and threadbare in places. The kitchen and bar close a bit early for my taste. Check the dishes at breakfast, every few days I’d notice a dirty plate or glass. The ugly: the hotel has a cool terrace, but it’s underutilized. AC in the exec lounge is non existent if it’s super hot.”
