“I loved the architecture and the interior design. We were upgraded to a junior suite. The bed was a bit firm for my taste, but manageable for the short term stay. My only grievance was about the cleanliness of the room. There was a splash of what looked like hot sauce on the otherwise beautiful bed curtain and there was a French fry under night table. Aside from that, the room was clean. Oh, and the desk in the room was gorgeous. I would've stayed longer just for that desk if time permitted.”

“Staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable of the Hotel's rich history and they are extremely accommodating. The hotel is magnificent. I explored the building until about 4 am, making my way from the upper floors, to the fire escapes, down the spiraling staircases and eventually into the lower levels including the maintenance corridors. Very eerie but so awesome!”

Yes, some things are a bit dated and can be revamped, but the good definitely outweighs the bad. The hotel is beautiful. The parking cost is definitely steep and was more expensive than we anticipated, but you are parking in a parking garage and are staying downtown LA. We came for our anniversary and were offered a room upgrade, which was an unexpected perk. We had requested a room close to the elevator because of my back issues. The room given didn't have a nice view and it was terribly far from the elevator. Also, for and upgrade, the room seemed smaller than the original room booked. After going back downstairs, both the desk clerk (Miguel) and manager (Albert) made everything right, from changing rooms to comping some of the parking cost since we'll be here for multiple days. There are restaurants in walking distance, close enough even for me and my bad back. Everyone was wonderful! I'd definitely recommend and would love to come back if we're ever in the area again.

I stayed at the property for a performance/competition/conference with over 1000 attendees. The check-in staff was very professional, very polite, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The meeting facilities were nice also. Lots of historical facts to learn about. If you want to shop or eat food, everything was within walking distance. Only downside about the area are the homeless people and constant smell of cannabis. Other than that, I had a great experience and I would certainly recommend to family and friends.

The room itself feels like a 2 star hotel. The lobby and entrance of the hotel is spectacular. I was supposed to get a king size bed and ended up with a queen size. I'm staying another night only because I already paid for it. If your looking for 4 star quality hotel DO NOT stay here.

Such a beautiful and historic hotel dab smack in the middle of downtown. The rooms were beautiful and the service was top notch from the door people to housekeeping. I had the pleasure of dealing with Nancy at the front desk pretty much my entire trip, and she was such a delight. She had such a great attitude and great personality. I was blown away by the room she set me up with and I can't wait to come back.

One of my favorite places to stay so far. Fell in love with the ambiance. Very secluded and hidden area although it's close to most Hollywood. Very clean rooms with matching decor. I was impressed by the service of the staff. Definitely worth the stay.

The phone in our room was covered in a red sticky substance. There was a used coffee cup, and the shower had hairs in it before we used it. I visited a few years ago and thought it was a nice. They seem to not update the spaces (especially the hotelroom bathrooms). The pool while beautiful but needed a lot of work- there was dirt on the bottom of the pool. The tiles need to be replaced or worked on. The brass handle to step in has tarnished and they never took the time to replace or polish it. The steam room & sauna is closed. The gym was open but looked run down. They built a wall around their spa??? Who does that- it looks tacky. I've been to several other cheaper hotels that still have their whirlpool spa open-why not this "4 star" hotel. The towels provided were hard and scratchy. If you decide to stay here bring your own.

For what I payed this was not the experience I hoped to get. Expect to pay $45 a day for parking. So if your having a 2 night stay they charge you for 3 days of parking. The front desk staff and valet staff treated me and my girlfriend very poorly. My girlfriend is heavily modified so I'm guessing that may have something to do with it. If you are looking for a good workout room this is not the hotel. The workout area was very dirty. The trim was falling off of one of the walls and most of the machines didn't even have weight pins. I had to wait till a gentlemen was done with his workout to use his. The foot stabilization bars and seats were loose. And the pulley machine was so hard to pull that my girlfriend hurt her neck and shoulders from trying to use it. We were questioned multiple times by the valet and door service staff if we were staying there or returning when they had seen us multiple times. Terrible customer service and manors in general. The history is beautiful and if the staff and quality of the amenities matched for what you pay this would of been a hotel we would of stayed at whenever on vacation.

I stayed at the property for the Ultimate Women's Expo where the vendors were to get a discount at this hotel.The website is misleading & THIS particular location doesn't look at all like the pictures.The check in/check out lines were horrible.I had to keep getting my card reset to be able to get in & out of the garage.I was not aware until check in that there was a fee for parking which should have been disclosed upon making the reservation.I never had to pay a parking fee before so that was news to me.There was also a resort fee like Vegas that was also new to me.The place is outdated although they tried to make some upgrades.I ended up paying WAY more for something that I could've gotten cheaper elsewhere w/a updated look.The need more staff.The hotel fee for the weekend was way to expensive for the overall experience I had.I'm sorry to say, I would not recommend this hotel.

It was a great pleasure to have stayed in this hotel for three days. This hotel and its staff are everything I had wished for. Everyone and everything was absolutely perfect and exceptional. I have really enjoyed the laid back feelings at the pool. I had a great time and never had a bad meal. Highly recommended!

Hidden fee. The cheap fare isn't the cheapest when they add on $75 at the end. It's easy to deduct it from the deposit, sol they get limited argument at the counter. It's a beautiful looking hotel and customer service was great. I had an issue with the air conditioning in my room. It was 84°. I moved to another room, and I had the same problem. Maintenance eventually had to come, but the room never got below 73°.

This is clearly one of the worse hotel with 4 star rating that I ever stayed at.The hotel is very outdated.Everything here is very old. The bathroom is very small. Than homeless people are all around.Parking is $45 night. Which you have to park in a garage that is not attached and walk down stairs to get to hotel.Overall, I am not happy with this hotel.Thank god I am only here for one night.

Absolutely beautiful historic hotel. It has a big gym, a pool, a nail salon, a pretty bar, and a cafe that usually has afternoon tea. It has espresso drinks and breakfast too. Housekeeping is fantastic and does an outstanding job. The room and closet are spacious although the bathroom is a bait small. The staff is generally pretty friendly. Great for architecture/history fans. It's walking distance from the theatres too

I found the experience with this hotel disappointing. Clearly this hotel has had an amazing past, however it now attracts a younger less discerning clientele through cheaper rates and diminished quality of rooms. "Renovated rooms" is not a term I would use to describe throwing layer upon layer of paint on walls, and replacing the odd piece of furniture. Upon closer inspection the rooms are still full of grime and dirt from its many decades of operation. I will say this, if you like the hair on the back of your neck to be raised, this is a fun hotel to explore. The energy is very noticeable, and the "haunted" hotel stories are easy to believe as you navigate down the hallways and the fitness area on the lower floors. It would be fine if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay during a party weekend, or quick trip, but not for those on business or longer stays.

The air smelled protected and new. They are agreeable and strong. It's better time, and I'm sure that sightseers can like it. In view of its vicinity to the city, the lodging's position is invaluable. That is a phenomenal assertion. This was actually a unique encounter. I was unable to hold back to invest energy with my family. This is critical!!

Really cool historic art deco hotel. Really enjoyed getting to stay here. We had some issues with parking, so plan accordingly as it apparently can fill up quickly and the garage has spots reserved for tenants. Nice staff, wonderful central location. Reasonable price. We'd definitely stay here again.

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any hotel. This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and usually will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the best in this area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't regret it. Excellent and historic hotel, clean, good localization, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Un hotel céntrico en la ciudad de Los Angeles que mantiene la gloria del pasado mantiene ese aire de los años '20pero muy actualizado, habitaciones no muy grandes pero acogedoras. El desayuno americano por 20$ muy bueno todo el personal mejicano muy agradable y con muchs experiencia, por los pasillos del hotel dicen que puedes encontrarte fantasmas y no me extraña pues parece wue estas en otra epoca. Para nosotros una experiencia muy agradable y única. Muy recomendable.

Quarto com boas dimensões, camas grandes e confortáveis. Limpeza boa. Localização central. A concierge é bem prestativa, assim como a equipe da recepção quando precisei pedir um adaptador de tomada emprestado (me cobraram 20 dolares pois acharam que eu ficaria com ele, mas assim que devolvi não teve nenhuma cobrança).

O hotel é incrível, histórico e super bem conservado, impressiona em todos os momentos. So que como a estrutura é antiga, os quartos são bem pequenos e não tem atrativos mais modernos, p. ex. a internet é muito instável e não existe a intenção que seja melhor. O mais legal são os eventos e público que frequenta. A piscina também é incrível, vale a pena conhecer.

Adorei o Hotel é muito giro e bem localizado, funcionários simpáticos e pequeno-almoço agradável. Estacionamento custa 50$ extra e Wifi é gratuito embora no final cobram 10$ dia e dizem que é para pagar Wifi, revistas e água.

The lobby is amazing and historic. The customer service was over nice. But, the rooms are in bad condition. Chipping paint, caulk on the tub was peeling, chunks of drywall missing. The rooms are in dire need of updates and cleaning. The view was also pretty horrible. It kind of reminded me of being in a prison. They also sold me spoiled hummus at the bar. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Pros: Professional/helpful staff, no problems with homeless hanging out around hotel, pool was clean & good service @bar. Cons: Expensive parking or have to find parking off property causing a long walk, small outdated bathroom, over priced, $25 daily fee. Stayed for 4 nights. Staff not cleaning rooms due to covid but didn't bother me bc front desk will have anything you need brought to the room. Only stayed here bc got a good deal with 3rd party. Staff was great & hotel was beautiful but probably wont stay again due to parking and daily fee.

The hotel has a great story and the interior decor is a beautiful step back into the Gilded Age. Carlos, the bell man at the front door, was excellent. He was friendly, helpful and gave me a nice history and interesting information on the hotel as we went to the room. The reservation was easy and the check in was smooth. The room is clean and the lady at the front desk checked to see if they had a room with a view for the room class I'd reserved and made sure I got it. The gym is good and they have posted instructions for exercises on the more obscure machines.

Booked last minute. Nice staff + very comfortable sleep.The floors are a bit dated. Very beautiful lobby with view of Pershing Square and I loved reading about the historic of the place. Only negative was the parking was pricier than other hotels nearby.

We just stayed one night to attend an event. Traffic as always is a challenge so we needed to hustle to make our reservations and event. This meant no time to mess around with checking in and getting ready. The contactless check-in save so much time, even though there was a line to check in it went as quick as it could.. Staff brought a bottle of water as we waited! The Bell service was AMAZING - getting our luggage up to our room so we could stay on time. We loved being able to come back and relax with a nightcap at the beautiful bar before calling it a night. And Leo in the garage was wonderful as we had to fetch our car due to no Valet (COVID) at this time. Great experience!

Hermoso hotel, pero penosamente mal administrado. El servicio trata de hacer pero no lo logran, el desayuno es malo, casi todos los amenities del lugar están cerrados. En la barra del hotel no hay tragos disponible. Es una joya en malas manos.

En si el hotel es magnifico, tiene muy buena ubicacion, yo ya me habia quedado hospedada hace tiempo, me quede muy decepcionada, nadie nos dijo que no habia quien limpiara el cuarto, ni que teniamos que hablar para pedir el servicio de toallas, muy pocos jabones y shampoo, la atencion fue muy buena pero poca comunicacion.

Con el pretexto del Virus, no hacen la limpieza diaria de las habitaciones, lo cual es muy malo, deberían de limpiar dos veces al día !!! Tampoco limpiaban las áreas comunes ni los elevadores, un asco.

This hotel is the cleanest and neat hotel that I had stayed in. It wasn’t my plan to stay in this hotel but due to a change of business location, I was so forced to check in here. I couldn’t imagine that this hotel was indeed incredible inside. The amenities and facilities they had were so great. The hoteliers were so friendly and accommodating as well. The room where I stayed was so clean and neat. The bathroom was so spacious and clean as well. This hotel deserves a 5-star rating!

Amenities, furniture, and delicious foods were all there. Also, I loved the fact that the valet that I trusted was loyal and trustworthy to me. He made me feel like I was a one-week Queen at their hotel. All I could see was astonishing to my eyes and overwhelming to my heart. The place was secured, and the people were happy with each other.
