“Last time we stayed in Cordoba we stayed in the NH Córdoba Guadalquivir. It was excellent.
It wasn't available this time so we chose Amistad. Big mistake.
You can't fault its location but from our arrival we knew this wasn't going to be a great stay. From the struggle up the front steps with heavy luggage watched by hotel staff, the very poor welcome at reception (effectively ignored), to the no room service(!), the faulty shower and the less than clean room we were ready for walking out within the first hour!
We did stay but the only redeeming feature was the service from staff at breakfast. That couldn't be faulted. One particular woman (unfortunately I can't recall her name) made our stay.”

“I have no idea why this hotel has such good reviews!! First of all, this place is super hard to find and you when find it, its much to be desired, super run down hotel, the pool is disgusting and missing tiles all over; this place is clean but super dilapidated! I get it, its an old town but we passed by some really nice hotels! Finally when we got to out room late at night our A/C wasnt working and the staff in charge barely acknowledged this!! When we spoke loudly to complain, they threatned to call the cops! So unnecessary (2 women alone in our travel party). Finally, a really nice young lady came to de-escalatethe situation and offered us another room; which did have working a/c.Needless to say, we wont be going back to this place! Ohhh and they charge $25 euros per person for a mediocre breakfast! The most expensive breakfast in all of Spain! Not even in Madrid not to mention, most hotels offer free breakfast!”
