“The hotel is set in beautiful country side and at first glance looks really elegant and fancy, but after entering our room we soon realised this wasn’t the case, very standard rooms, and the dust was almost unbearable, on every single surface there was dust and not just a little you could tell it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time, after the second night myself and my partner woke up with sore throats and noses, this wouldn’t surprise me if it was down to the amount of dust on the fans. Some of the staff were lovely, very helpful and a few others weren’t as friendly which set a weird vibe. The hot tub was out of order which sucked and the “spa/pool” felt more like a leisure centre than a spa. The breakfast was yummy, lots of options which was great! All in all I don’t think we’ll be staying again, the gardens of the hotel are stunning but the rooms are just not up the scratch. I would give it a miss.”

“The hotel is placed in a beautiful location and it makes it easy to 'pause' when dropping someone off at Stansted airport and travelling back to Dorset the next day. It could do with a bit of a clean; in our toilet the ridges showed dark mold, spiderwebs and ant traps in the pool area, cigarette butts in the garden area. In the dining area (bar) the lamp shades were dusty and and looked dirty. It has a lot of potential but could do with some attention, love and a clean.”
