“If you don't look too close, the hotel is beautifully appointed. The room showed some tear and wear. Bathroom shelves, lamp shades dusty. Kettle was dirty on outside. Jacuzzi water cold. No way to fix it. Mold on joins and lamps in the swimming-pool. No changing room at the pool. One tile at pool side broken into small pieces and let this way for guests to step on it and hurt themselves. Poor choice of TV channels. Not what you expect from a 5-star hotel. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the rooms have spacious marble bathrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room too cold. Could not fix it. Call front desk. Promised to sent technician. No one showed up. Had to all again following day for someone to come.”

“Will recommend hotel but not food, better to walk out and eat off hawker stalls if you want a taste of real malaysian food. I should know I was born there and lived there till age 17. Location,cleanliness and executive lounge were excellent. Quallity of food at restuarant was ferrible as were its inflated prices.”
