O hostel é bem limpo e os banheiros compartilhados estão sempre em boas condições de uso. A área mais ao sul do hostel tem muitos viciados, inclusive com várias barracas nas calçadas, mas a área norte é bem tranquila, onde caminhamos tarde da noite. Tivemos que subir com as malas os quatro andares, pois nosso quarto foi o 411.

So the hotel is a kind of old. Need a renovation specially the rooms.They have a strange smell and the window is not opening.The location is not very good. There are a few bars around but when I was coming back at the night I wasn't feel so safe because in the streets around there are so many homeless people.The best thing with the hotel is the staff.Everybody is so kind and helpful. Portanto, o hotel é meio antigo. Necessita de uma reforma principalmente nos quartos. Eles têm um cheiro estranho e a janela não está abrindo. A localização não é muito boa. Existem alguns bares por perto, mas quando voltei à noite não me senti tão seguro porque nas ruas ao redor há muitos sem-teto. A melhor coisa com o hotel é a equipe. Todo mundo é tão gentil e prestativo.

I stayed only 1 night. I liked it, and is near Little Tokyo and interesting places. Is a good place to stay if you want to visit around here.

Too bad I can’t put zero stars. First I was denied access due to my service dog. The guy demanded that I produce an id for her. Which if he knew the ADA he would know it was illegal to ask that or demand in his case. His comment there was a sign on the wall that stated that. There was not. I am sure there will be now. I mentioned that he must allow me entrance as it is a business and his comment was no he didn’t since it was a private entity. He then would not refund my money. The website says nothing about needing id for my dog which by the way was clearly marked as a service dog. I do understand people try to game the system but I don’t. He again was very rude to me. The building is not wheelchair accessible either. The only way is was very steep stairs. Which I fell down. Not only was I refused service because of my dog but I ended up with an ankle injury. Again wish there were zero stars. I am pretty sure my review will be pulled. Not worth the hassle.

My room was clean. It has a safe in the room, mini fridge and TV. Front desk staff was helpful and polite. Bathrooms are clean and always smell like cleaning products. There is a family bathroom on the second floor that has a lock. During my 2 day stay it was always empty. Otherwise shared men's bathroom on the second floor and shared women's on the third floor.Area is slightly sketchy but you're centered in the arts district and Saturday nights get pretty busy. You can hear people talking on the streets. Rooms are far from sound resistant.Otherwise I had a great stay with zero actual issues. Parked in front of the hotel for free otherwise it's 25 cash for full day a short walk down the street. Meu quarto estava limpo. Tem cofre no quarto, frigobar e TV. A equipe da recepção foi atenciosa e educada. Os banheiros são limpos e sempre cheiram a produtos de limpeza. Há uma casa de banho familiar no segundo andar com fechadura. Durante a minha estadia de 2 dias estava sempre vazio. Caso contrário, banheiro masculino compartilhado no segundo andar e feminino compartilhado no terceiro andar.A área é um pouco incompleta, mas você está centrado no distrito das artes e as noites de sábado ficam bastante ocupadas. Você pode ouvir as pessoas falando nas ruas. Os quartos estão longe de serem resistentes ao som.Caso contrário, tive uma ótima estadia com zero problemas reais. Estacionado em frente ao hotel gratuitamente, caso contrário, são 25 em dinheiro para o dia inteiro, a uma curta caminhada da rua.

Um hotel muito agradável a um preço acessível. Limpo, tranquilo e relaxante. Banheiros limpos, compartilhados, mas o hotel é bastante intimista, então você raramente vê outra pessoa no banheiro. Cama confortável, lençóis e fronhas limpos, toalhas limpas de vários tamanhos. Serviço amigável, bairro interessante, incl. sorvete delicioso!

The rooms are decent. Some room comes with a couch. The bathroom situation is what gets them low stars. Bathrooms are all shared except one on each floor. It's scary to shower in the unlocked stall as a girl...They should provide a key to lock the door so you can take a shower peacefully. Os quartos são decentes. Alguns quartos incluem um sofá. A situação do banheiro é o que dá a eles estrelas baixas. Os banheiros são todos compartilhados, exceto um em cada andar. É assustador tomar banho na cabine destrancada como uma garota... Eles deveriam fornecer uma chave para trancar a porta para que você possa tomar banho tranquilamente.

Paid $150 a night and was pretty disappointed. Started with the fact theres ZERO parking in a very busy area, took almost 10 minutes to find a spot that wasn't a 15 minute walk. Lots of stairs, rooms are very very bland. Kind of felt like a cheap hostel. Now the worst park had to be the bathrooms. They're all shared. No private ones. Each day there was throw up that never got cleaned up, overall dirty and had a weird smell the entire stay. Only benefit was a cheap little AC unit that at least worked. If you can get a room for like $50 maybe but I spent $605 for 4 nights so I guess that's what I signed up for but still.

El cuarto estaba super limpio. Nada de pelos o manchas en las sàbanas o almohadas. Algunos baños llegaban a estar sucios, sin embargo al subir o bajar un piso podías encontrar uno limpio.Los baño cuentan con dispensador de Jabón y toallas touchless.

NO private bath rooms. Sketchy parking. Power washing outside in middle of the night. Room smelled of mildew. Had to switch rooms. Found LICE in the shower. Reminds me of a hostel. Beware of fake reviews that talk of airport bridge, fresh smells, great food, Starbucks, breakfast, and pleasant staff; none exist at the American Hotel! ALL FAKE.

Best Hotel ever! The bathroom was very modern and clean, with extra towels, a hairdryer, and a nice shower. I especially loved the golden tiles on the bathroom floor as well as the glass door to the shower which you could close properly so that no water would splash all over the bathroom. I will definitely recommend your Hotel to everyone!

We had an excellent experience with the helpful staff from the first phone call through to check-in, dining, and check-out! Our rooms were very clean modern and very accommodating. Their food was also very delicious and mouthwatering. Thank you very much for the very unforgettable experience! We will definitely be staying again!

A perfect place to stay! Especially if you have a morning flight. It is just a 15-minute walk from the airport via the overpass bridge. The staffs are polite and very helpful especially, Sofia at the front desk as well as John. They were both accommodating and know what they are doing. Keep it up, and I am hoping that all staffs are like them around the globe. I strongly recommend staying here!

Calling this hotel's customer services representative was awesome. He answered all of my questions without any hidden flaws. I am very grateful that I was able to book my reservations on time. Hotel a 20'del civic center, en el barrio de los artistas. Baños comunes, pero muy limpios y cuidados. El barrio es muy del rollo hípster bohemio, poca iluminación por la noche, aunque es un barrio tranquilo. Hay dos bares al lado muy recomendables. Umami y Lupetti.

Comparado con otros hoteles similares he de decir que no está tan mal. Es económico y sin baño propio en la habitación, pero hay un baño compartido para cada sexo en todas las plantas con varios WC y duchas suficientes, además de otro baño unisex con un WC y ducha en cada planta por si quieres algo más de intimidad, en mi opinión bastante limpios en general. Las habitaciones no se ven mal, tienen nevera, perchas y televisión por cable. Nada más entrar te encuentres una escalinata para llegar a la recepción, pero no busques ningún ascensor, no lo hay. El recepcionista te da la opción de cargarlas el mismo a tu habitación. No dispone de cafetería para desayunar. El hotel se encuentra en Little Tokyo, a unos 20 minutos andando del distrito de los artistas. Este hotel es una buena opción si quieres visitar el Downtown de Los Ángeles un par de días.
