The staff was amazing and the rooms were comfortable and clean.I wasn't in the mood for the continental breakfast so I can't speak to that. It's very convenient to everything in downtown Salt Lake. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because I'm a lite sleeper and it's pretty noisy around there.

Had an absolutely great time staying here! We only stayed for one night on a road trip but we arrived and they were extremely warm and accommodating at the front desk. We got a very sweet welcome card and gift for being a Marriott Bonvoy member. They welcomed our dogs and even had snacks for free in the lobby for the holidays. The room was nice and clean, and parking was easy - even in the snow. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience! If I could leave 10 stars, I would!

Horrible place. There was nothing right about my stay at this hotel. I stayed 4 nights only because my employer booked this for me. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, could not get the room to warm up and had paper thin blankets. The hot breakfast was a joke - looked like there was enough hot food (scrambled eggs and microwave bacon) for maybe 8 people - our group was 30 people. Don't even think about using the pool - it had gross stuff all along the rim - so disgusting!

Do not stay here unless you don’t plan on sleeping all night. Was assigned a room situated across the street from a nightclub that played music till 2am then people at the club started yelling and screaming till 4am. When I complained in the morning they told me they knew about the noise and they should have considered that before assigning the room to me and I should have been assigned a room at different room further away from the nightclub. Why didn’t they consider doing that to begin with when they knew the room would be across the street from the club and the noise would be unbearable I have no idea. I plan on writing a complaint to Marriott corporate with my complaint and write further complaint reviews so no will waste their money at this property.

This location is primely situated in downtown Salt Lake City with easy access to all of the local businesses, restaurants, bars/pubs, shopping, etc. The staff was welcoming and friendly during my (unexpected) 2am arrival. The room was appropriately furnished, including a desk and side arm chair. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable, which isn’t common for my extensive traveling. I wasn’t overly impressed with the “hot breakfast”, but this location meets all of my expectations for a (lower tier) Marriott brand. Only a few negatives: - The view from my window was horrible. It’s essentially just the wide side of a building construction site. - The bathroom setup is a little weird and the toilet paper roll/dispenser is awkwardly close to the toilet itself. I’m not sure any adult could use the toilet without hitting their knees/legs against it. - In the shower, they’ve moved the shampoo, conditioner, and soap dispensers to the middle wall, instead of the back wall or under the shower head. This makes it painful and awkward to use for most folks and I can’t really wrap my mind around why you’d do that. - There’s no logical, wide-enough space to put your suitcase on the wrack. The room and closet is entirely too small for it. No matter where you put it, it blocks the hallway, chair, A/C unit, fridge, etc.
