This place sets a new standard for service, cleanliness, gorgeous, clean, fabulous beach and water to die for. Crystal clear and warm and peaceful. We stayed in Grand Class and there were times when I had the whole beach in front of my suite to myself. I HIGHLY recommend spending the extra to reserve Grand Class on the first floor. It was a delight to be able to open the sliding glass doors and walk 50' to the beach without having to go on an elevator. We even moved the lanai table and chairs out to the grass one night and ate under the stars with grass at our feet. The concierge service was top notch. I felt like I had my own personal assistant who helped me with every little issue even when I left my phone charger at a previous hotel. The food is awesome! If you can swing the price tag, I promise you, you will not be able to find anything to complain about. Just superb hotel and service and location.

The most wonderful vacation I ever had. Excellent service, they pampered their guests unbelievably. Great restaurants, my favorite is the Bistro. Beautiful beach, clean and neat, I will suggest to bring water shoes. Very safe environment, their security were very friendly and alert, one morning I got lost in the resort, went to a wrong building and wondering just one minute , there was a staff came up and asked me if I need help. No mess there. I would give this resort 10 🌟. It was my first visit to Cancun, such a great experience, I missed them, can't wait to go back. The price may expensive, but it WORTH.

This was our second time at this resort and we simply loved every minute there. Outstanding ambience, food, and service from each and every member of the staff. They went out of their way to make our experience special including vegetarian specials at each of their amazing restaurants.

The service is why I gave 3 stars. They are very attentive. However, the rooms are so loud, day and night. You can hear EVERYTHING going on in the rooms next door and the halfway. I didn't sleep at all. The "world class" spa in my opionion was a joke. Worse massage of my life. It was a beautiful setting but i wouldn't go back. My next trip got a 5 star resort, I'll stick to the Ritz Carlton.

From the moment we stepped into Resort to the moment we left, our family has never enjoyed a resort like Grand Velas. The resort was beautiful, the food was phenomenal, and the amenities were incredible. What really made this resort stand out were the employees. They made our family feel so special, and they ALL knew how to treat a guest. Our Butler Concierge, Michelle, set a new standard in service. She was amazing. Our pool server Israel was the most attentive we've ever had and did so many little things to make our pool time perfect. Overall, Grand Velas was the best resort we've stayed and we've stayed at many of the finest resorts in North America. I normally don't take the time to do reviews, but felt compelled to after the service we were provided and the memorable experience we had there. Thank you Grand Velas! Can't wait to go back.
