Guests should be informed up front $20 parking and complimentary breakfast no longer exists. Guests should be allowed to cancel same day reservations. And rooms should provide remote controls that actually work, providing written instructions to assist. So many buttons and Guide button would not function to even see what's on. Middle of the night, loud, boisterous Guests too. Very disappointing experience I can't undo and regret having.

Stayed here this week and I am extremely disappointed. We paid good money to stay in this hotel for 3 days. The bathtub backed up twice. The first time, we had someone come by and fix it and we were receptive to that. We were disappointed but we understand things happen. The second time, we went downstairs to talk to the front desk person. When we spoke to the person at the front desk, Alexandria, she immediately tried to say it was our fault. We then asked for some type of reimbursement for the inconvenience of this happening twice and for the discourtesy of the staff, she then reacted with extreme disrespect. I hate to flash this card, but I am Hilton Honors member too. So if I do not hear back from someone in management to make this right, I will be cancelling my Hilton Honors credit card and notifying corporate. Hilton can do better than this.

The lobby is very inviting, nice and bright and open with cozy seating, complimentary coffee and tea, nice breakfast area and decent selection for breakfast food - $20 buffet. You can tell they've made efforts to update the hotel rooms- the furniture and bathroom fixtures seemed nice and on the newer side. The windows, curtains, stucco ceiling and hallway wallpaper are still outdated, but the hotel and my room was clean. The pool was closed when I visited in late December but the weather was cool anyway. They had a nice patio near the pool deck with comfy outdoor couches and fire pits. The bar area was accessible from sitting outside so it was easy to grab a drink and sit outside by the fire. The location is pretty good. It's in Old Town, but not directly in the heart - it's about a 2-3 block (5 to 8 min) walk to get where the restaurants and shops are. The side streets in direct proximity are not very populated so I suggest walking along the main roads (Indian School Rd to Scottsdale Rd) at night, for safety. ( I was by myself). I would stay here again for the price and my Hilton points :)

Really enjoyed our stay at the Old Town Scottsdale HGI. The location was fabulous and lots of underground parking. Our room was ready upon arrival, which we really appreciated. Room was spacious, quiet and very clean. We enjoyed having a few drinks around the fire tables, listening to the music and having wonderful conversations with the folks we met from around the country. Would stay again!

Old, if you look up in the lobby you will see a spider paradise, I don't think anyone cleaned there since the last renovation. Old rooms with really old carpet and floors looking like no one ever washed them. You need to request to clean your room before 11am or it will not be cleaned, I am not sure if it is a good thing or not, depends on you. It does have a restaurant and a pay for parking for you convenience.

Thanks Hilton, I was in for a quick trip and really enjoyed the stay. My team was able to collaborate in the lobby to prep. Our rooms were nice and tidy, and the breakfast fueled us for our meeting!!!
