“As a local, I would never use this hotel. When my car broke down and I asked if I could use their parking lot because that’s literally how far I made it after getting jumped in front of the ihop outside, the manager was completely unwilling to let me leave the car there for an hour while I tried to recharge the battery to get my vehicle home. I understand I’m not a paying customer, but there’s a really good reason why locals are apprehensive about tourists and it’s because of actions like this: not willing to help out a resident in need because you’re too worried about the tourist”

“Just finished a two night stay at the Ramada Plaza near Waikiki. 5-star stay for the price and the proximity to Waikiki. Gene at the front desk, Linda with Housekeeping and the parking attendant (didnt catch your name, sorry!) were all very friendly and very helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again because of them and because of the value. The brunch restaurant, Aloha Kitchen, was within walking distance and the souffle pancakes we tried were excellent.”
