“If you want to relax and regenerate it is a perfect place for you. Almost no kids and majority are older German pensioners. Hotel is located in Grand Canaria luxury district. Dozens of groceries and cloath shops could be find near the hotel. The food is great and especially a fresh fruits/vegetables. Our favorites fruits were fresh papaya and kiwi. Moreover you are able to arrange dozens of interesting walks in this area. We recommend a trip by a bus to playa del Ingles and walk to the hotel across the sandy hills. Another nice location is a parque Urbano del sur where you could exercise or meditate.”

Somos clientes habituales. Ahora mismo estoy alojada en la 5073, y he de decir que vengo principalmente por el servicio por parte de todo el personal del hotel. Carlos (recepción) nos trató ayer, 04 de agosto, de forma espectacular. Nos dio una habitación increíble pero lo mejor fue el gesto de llamarnos a ver qué nos había parecido la habitación. El trato de los camareros en piscina es impecable (el chico mulato de las toallas y el de Alejandro, creo que así se llama, en especial). Las instalaciones son increíbles. Las piscinas climatizadas y limpias. Hamacas cómodas. Hamacas de agua. Y de la comida siempre digo que la calidad y la variedad priman en este hotel. Da gusto entrar en ese buffet. Buen trabajo también el de las camareras de piso, pues la limpieza brilla en este resort. Gracias, pues es la tercera vez que venimos y estamos encantados

Hablar de las excelencias de este hotel está de más, pues de nada servirían sus magníficos servicios e instalaciones, su ubicación, etc... sin el componente humano, sobre todo en el servicio del comedor: gracias a Elena por buscarnos ese vaso de agua fría, "porque un vaso de agua no se le niega a nadie", a Manolo por su buen humor y por hacernos sentir que nos conocía de toda la vida, a Jonás por buscarnos siempre una mesa en fumadores... y por sus consejos turísticos... Somos injustos no mencionando todos los Buenos detalles que otros tuvieron con nosotros. Sirvan ellos de ejemplo.Enhorabuena. Volveremos

Para ser un hotel de 5 estrellas, hay muchos pequeños detalles que, individualmente, no son importantes, pero que, si los sumas, te dan una experiencia no del todo positiva. El mantenimiento, presenta lagunas (léase, en el baño, las puertas, etc). Sin duda, lo mejor el personal, todo amabilidad. Lo peor, los clientes (algunos), que se toman a guasa el uso de la mascarilla.

Bastante disgustado con el trato, lento y a veces desesperante, dos cambios de habitación por problemas ajenos a nosotros ,hicieron que nuestra estancia no fuera tan gratificante ya que perdimos mucho tiempo,estos cambios hicieron que llegáramoscon poco tiempo para la cena, y no estábamos cómodos ya que los empleados empiezan a recoger pronto y todo por errores del hotel.precio 5 estrellas servicio no equivalente.

Las instalaciones muy bien, el personal muy amable, pero los restaurantes temáticos están cerrados y no se abrirán a corto plazo... esto le quita mucho al hotel, y hace que no merezca la pena gastarse 162 euros la noche. Una pena que la administración del hotel tome estas desiciones tan poco acertadas. Cuando decidimos acortar nuestra estancia por esta situación nos llamaron insistentemente a pagar la factura de forma anticipada... una pena. Así tratan siempre a sus huéspedes? No es la forma. Los clientes se fidelizan con servicios, no cobrando de antemano antes que te des cuenta que no te dan lo que prometen en la publicidad. Sin embargo, debo añadir, que una sola persona no debe empañar el excelente trabajo y atención del resto del personal del hotel. Quitando ese momento desagradable, debo decir que es un sitio agradable, y repetiremos.

Animo a todo el que pueda a alojarse en este hotel. Siempre Riu da buen servicio y personal muy profesional pero siempre que me alojo en el Palace Meloneras me siento como en casa. Las medidas sanitarias estrictas y muy controlado. Es una tranquilidad tal y como están las cosas. Muchas gracias a todo el personal en especial a Emilio de recepción.

I stayed there a few times now. I was there last week. And I am really dissappointed about the quality and variety of the food. And this for the breakfast and the dinner. I know there is a crisis but this is not the good attitude for the guests. It s supposed to be a 5 star hotel. But for me right now it doesn't deserve 5 stars. Booking with Luxair the prices were even a very little more expensive so I was sure to have the same quality as usual. Really dissapointed and I will not choose anymore this hotel for my next trip to Gran Canaria. Even the Wifi didn't work anymore in the rooms🤷🏻♂️🙄They have the label Safe and Clean but even for this I am not really sure. The first days we had gloves for the buffet and then they told us that we don't need gloves anymore and that we only need to disinfect our hands before using the buffet. But many dispender were empty...

Hemos pasado una semana extraordinaria, el hotel es perfecto para descansar, muy buena situación acceso al paseo junto al mar y tiendas multimarcas,restaurantes... la zona muy tranquila.La atención al cliente de 10, la comida muy por encima de otros hoteles de la misma categoría, variada y de calidad. Todo perfecto!!

As with another one of the hotels in the group our fellow passengers had accomodation here due to the lack of flights back to the UK as a result of the sand storm which covered Gran Canaria.First class service, we were all made very welcome by all members of the staff .Superb rooms and facilities.After the horrendous time spent in the airport, it was a great relief to have excellent food and a very restfull night

The hotel was a truly 5 Star experience.Starting from friendly staff behavior as well as food extravaganza, there was nothing to not to be mesmerised about.Cons:1.In some places (e.g. Crystal Restaurant), it was really hard to explain anything, as all the staffs were only speaking spanish.

Excelente, las instalaciones, recepción, jardines, piscinas, habitaciones, el trato muy bueno, muy profesionales y mucha amabilidad, la comida muy muy buena, el bufete del desayuno buenísimo, abundante y muy variado, la comida en el restaurante excelente y el piscina también muy bueno, ha sido nuestro aniversario y al llegar en la habitación teníamos una botella de cava, un pequeño centro de rosas y una cajita de bombones, hemos tenido muy buena experiencia, repetiremos.

But best entertainment of all is enjoying a drink at the Purple Bar as the sun goes down over the Atlantic.

Muy bien. Es una de las zonas de Gran Canaria que más me gustan. Las instalaciones y la comida excelentes. El único pero por poner algo es la ocupación de las hamacas de la piscina ya a primera hora de la mañana. Es un mal endémico del turista europeo pero estoy convencido que por parte del hotel se puede ser más riguroso. Los restaurantes muy bien. Para repetir.

Un hotel 10 en instalaciones, un buffet maravilloso, personal muy amable. Todo 10 hasta que se hacen las 12 de la noche y tu habitación está hacia el centro comercial donde hay una discoteca y cuando cierra se mete la discoteca en tu habitación, porque se hace botellón . En recepción me contesta haber avisado de aquí no se oye , y que era la única que había protestado, además que al ser una habitación stándar pues es lo que tenía.Recomiendo al que quiera alojarse en el hotel que no se aloje hacia ese lado, porque fui a descansar y a las 6 de la mañana ya no se podía dormir más.

Hemos estado en este maravilloso hotel desde el 22 al 30 de junio. Nuestra estancia no ha podido ser mejor. Instalaciones, servicio y una plantilla de 10. Pero lo que realmente hace especial este alojamiento es su personal: eficiente, educado, servicial, amigable... Hemos encontrado personas maravillosas y un lugar al cual estamos deseando volver en nuestras vacaciones. Quiero enviar un saludo especial a Germán y a Manolo , que no pudieron ser más amables y divertidos con nosotros y en especial con nuestra hija Cintia. Más que un Hotel. No existen calificativos pues es tanto lo bueno que tiene que comenzaría por la situación, los diferentes espacios, 5 Piscinas con vistas al Mar que hacen sentirte casi en el oceano, la tranquilidad, un bufete que sobrepasa cualquier nivel en su variedad y calidad, unos Restaurantes temáticos de alta categoría, la limpieza, Spa, Gym, Animación, perfecto acceso a los diferentes espacios para personas con discapacidad... (A éste respecto tengo que ponerles otra matrícula que no objeción: Soy una persona con Discapacidad del 81% de la ONCE. Nunca me aprovecho de ello, y solo una vez que no había hamacas con buen acceso me situé en las exclusivas para discapacitados por indicación del personal al mostrarles mi tarjeta de discapacidad y de la ONCE. Por confusión a los pocos minutos me vinieron a decir que estaba reservado a un Grupo de Escandinavos con minusvalía. No tuve mayor problema en levantarme y ayudado por mi mujer nos buscamos otro lugar. Solo algo violento, pero...lo que sí es cierto es que a la hora vinieron 3 personas del Sevicio de Piscina y Camareros super amables a decirnos que nos habían encontrado otro lugar. Extraordinarios. No quisimos ya desplazarnos y nos recompensaron con otra atención y refrigerios, pero es que al día siguiente ya nos tenían reservadas unas hamacas en primera línea fácil acceso y en cuanto nos vieron nos vinieron a buscar. La verdad que muy agradecidos pues no deja de ser anécdota positiva que dice todo del Equipo Riu Palace Meloneras ). Siempre destacar ...el excelente trato humano, atento, educado y simpático desde Recepción hasta la larga lista de Empleados Camareros, Personal, etc, siempre con una palabra amable y una sonrisa e intentando que disfrutes en cada momento. Atención inmejorable. Un conjunto de calificativos que sobrepasan las 5 Estrellas como Puntuación. Llevo más de 30 años visitando las Islas por motivos laborales y ocio, y he estado en multitud de Hoteles de Alta Categoría. Sin duda éste reúne la excelencia de lo que cualquier Turista con sentido del buen gusto pretende. Como todo tiene un "pero", justificado por el volumen de Turistas "No Nacionales", que es el de los Horarios de las Cenas, pues a las 21.30h ya "se cerró el chiringuito, y como llegues a las 20.45h...ya están montando mesas de desayunos mientras cenas. Buena ubicación, excelente buffet y comida de gran calidad. Trato cercano por el personal del hotel. La única pega es que la zona infantil es muy escasa , a parte de estar un poco abandonada o por loenos a mime dio esa sensación. En la piscina infantilla mesa de Ping Pong está descuidada y varios utensilios rotos se han tiradolos días que he estado allí sin nadie retirarlos.

Visita por motivos laborales. La colaboración del personal del hotel fue correcta, no así con sus clientes a los que pretendían remitirlos a un servicio de pago cuando lo tenían público y cubierto por su seguro. Malas prácticas por desgracia, aún en día, en casi todos los complejos hoteleros. La picaresca Española que por una comisión Mata. Cuidado!

Excelente pero ...Puedo decir, que es un sitio excelente. Buenos servicios, disposición de los trabajadores y amabilidad, buenas instalaciones y cuidadas, muy buena calidad en la comida ... Nada que objetar al respecto, al contrario, ninguna queja y se nota que es un hotel 5 estrellas.PERO, si que me gustaría hacer una crítica. No me gusta NADA, que en el siglo XXI, en un sitio con el clima de Gran Canaria, OBLIGUEN a los hombres llevar pantalón largo para las cenas, ya sea en el restaurante buffet como en cualquiera de los dos restaurantes que tienen a la carta. No me gusta entrar en debates sobre la igualdad, es una crítica personal sobre lo que me gusta y no me gusta, pero obviamente, no tiene mucho sentido que a las mujeres sí que les dejen ir de corto y a los hombres no.Porfavor, revisen su política al respecto y en el resto, sigan trabajando del mismo modo.Gracias

We stayed in this Hotel back in 2010 then returned again in June 2019. Wow, what a transformation!The whole complex has undergone a major remodelling. It looks superb and feels luxurious.It’s probably more ideal for couples on romantic holidays or middle age people who appreciate quality and good service. Not the cheapest place to stay but a very, very lovely hotel and complex.

Visited in January with my husband. This hotel was totally refurbished a couple of years ago to a very high standard. We were greeted by friendly reception staff who sent us to the bar for a glass of bubbly whilst they checked us in - you relax as soon as you set foot in the place. We had booked a garden room which are in blocks of eight room. Ours was ground floor which in January was fine but in the height of summer I think the upper floor would be better so you can leave the windows and patio door open at night. Our room overlooked the shopping centre which I initially thought might be noisy but it was fine. Big room and huge walk in shower which was all immaculate. The hotel has numerous pools and in winter they are heated so we could swim which was such a bonus. The location is excellent there is a gate at the front of the hotel giving access to the promenade. We booked half board and sat outside for both breakfast and evening meal because they have so much outside seating there was always a table available. Vast buffet choice only critism of the food would be that they don't label enough dishes so you have no idea what things are and a majority of the food was luke warm.I would definitely go back as it's great value for money.

Amazing hotel. Very relaxing, incredible staff, very good service. It has the perfect dimension to be at the perfect distance between rooms, pools, bars, restaurants and beach. We found it very clean, at any time of the day or evening.The food was incredible, both the regular buffet and the restaurants Crystal and El Español. We were very impressed.

Staff, accommodation and food very good - exceptionally clean.A mention for Rueben waiter at the adults only pool, extremely efficient and polite - outstanding member of the team.The only problem is the sunbed reservation, the usual selfish people who lay claim to the best position before daylight and then turn up about 11am, the staff do not enforce the 'reserving of sunbeds is forbidden policy' but are obsessed with long trouser for adult maledress code in the main dining room - the hotel should be consistent in their approach.I recently stayed in Rhodes no pre reservation allowed for sunbeds and if you abandoned your sunbed for more than 1hr (not lunchtime) then your items were removed.

El trato al cliente se nota desde que entras por la puerta y enseguida se acercan a hacerse cargo de las maletas. Muy tranquilo, hasta en temporada alta. Para comer vale la pena esperar un poco y comer fuera, suele haber buen tiempo y es muy agradable sentir la brisa alrededor. Muy bien delimitada la cocina vegetariana(estofado de trigo buenísimo) , de pescados y carnes todo de muy buena calidad. Gran surtido de panes, quesos y postre. Máquina de hielo gratis en los pasillos que llevan a las habitaciones y WiFi de alta velocidad también gratis en todo el hotel. Gimnasio pequeño pero con lo básico, el Spa realmente es baño turco y jacuzzi. Todo el personal se desvive por conseguirte lo que necesitas. Hemos estado en muchos hoteles de 4 y 5 estrellas y sigo diciendo que los pequeños detalles que se tiene con el cliente marcan la diferencia a la hora de decidir si vuelves o no. Me encantará volver, sobre todo por la habitación que nos dieron (suite presidencial) y todavía no sabemos a quien le tenemos que dar las gracias y se las daremos. Una bonita manera de celebrar nuestro aniversario

Nice hotel, good food. Need pool police, people reserving their spaces around the pool from 7am by leaving towels on the sunbeds, then not actually turning up at the pool until 10-11am, even though there's a tiny sign saying "no reservations" for the sunbeds. This hotel is fine for the older generation. Lacking in good evening entertainment.

Poor views from most of ground floor rooms due to concrete buildings in the centre. We asked to be moved but said we need to pay a premium for rooms on floors above. I paid through TUI which said part sea views. Not all staff are friendly. Entertainment is average and repetitive. Screaming babies and children constant which is hard to get away from as adult pool areas are always full. The grounds and location are very good and the food is excellent.NOT A FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE - Paid £3800.00 all in. Will not stay in this hotel again. Disappointed at my first RIU hotel experience. Many years with TUI and this is my first time complaining. It was interesting that the TUI rep Joe even said you are not the first to complain.

Returned from this amazing hotel a week ago.It is totally amazing. The moment you walk in the door it's impressive.The cleanliness is second to none.The staff are so helpful ,very friendly and so very smart.I have been to many hotels and the staff here are the most friendly and welcoming.The food is wonderful although the restaurants were busy but always managed to find a table.The pools were stunning,no problem getting sunbeds even though we didn't get to the pool till around 11am.The promenade and beach are fabulousWe walked along the water's edge every morning ,for a few hours, the sand dunes are beautiful.The entertainment was ok.....some evenings better than others.If you want a relaxing holiday then this hotel and area will be perfect for youI forgot to mention the rooms. We were very pleased with ours, bathroom was the best, with huge shower ,and double sinks. The shower was so powerful.There are alot of 60 plus guest's ,many who seem to have been coming here for a number of years, Thanks riu for a superb holiday,would love to return soon .x

Everything from entrance to the room and the food is perfect. Cleaned to perfection. Super friendly and always smiling staff. Several nice pools and choices of restaurants. Close to the board walk along the ocean.The evening buffet has so many options that it takes days to try everything. Great selection of beer and wines.

we have just returned from a 10 day stay at this hotel, we have stayed many times, before the refurbishment and after and it never fails to deliver on excellent customer service. Throughout the hotel the staff are friendly and the hotel is immaculately kept. The food is amazing with plenty of choice for all tastes, the waiters are attentive and friendly ,on this occasion we went with family and needed a larger table with a highchair there was always someone to assist in finding one. Two waiters stood out as exceptional each time, Genaro and Pedro a big thankyou from all of us, the hotel fully deserves its 5 stars

We spent 8 wonderful days at the resort. The food was delicious and our room was a delight and spotlessly clean not to mention the glorious view overlooking the garden pool area and the Atlantic ocean. The clientele is a bit older, and this is not a very fun hotel for kids. The food was very nice, and all areas very clean. Great pools, even if kids aren't allowed in all of them. Some service personnel were a bit rude, but most were super friendly.

Only go if you're over 70 (and you'll probably enjoy it then). They really don't tolerate families despite saying they're family friendly. Entertainment was bland. The hotel itself is very well placed and looks great. Just a shame they can't do something for families.

Pants are mandatory to have dinner but they allow "sockdals"? Furthermore we had a cockroach in our room and they said it was "normal"... They did give us an extended checkout though, so either it's normal or it isn't and you feel guilty about it. Idiotic hotel with sky-high prices in exchange for nothing at all.

Hay pocas plazas de aparcamiento por lo que estas sujeto a conseguir o no. La comida no esta mal pero baja calidad. El trato del personal es muy cercano aunque hay un camarero que no nos gusto su trato. Escuchamos a otro cliente quejarse de el . Por lo demás todo muy bien.
