“Spent 5 days at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos and we stayed in the "Preferred Club Junior Suite Ocean Front" room. The suite, buildings, grounds, pools, everything was impeccable!! David, one of the workers in the resort was great to deal with and made sure we had everything and anything we needed. All the other staff we encounter were just as great and friendly!! We enjoyed whale watching from our balcony every morning! We tried all of the restaurants, and all were perfect! The drinks were all top shelf and great as well. This place is top notch, you wont be disappointed!! 5 Stars+++”

“Secrets was not for me. Booked through Costco and it was my first all inclusive experience. We gave it a shot because our friends booked a week before us and asked us to come too. I had high hopes after staying next door at the JW earlier in the year. Upon arrival I was excited, the staff was pleasant and the grounds are pretty. Our full ocean view was no better than our friends' partial view room. Overall the room would have been a good fit but the smell of mold/mildew was very strong (you will find many reviews that mention the smell). We tried to keep the sliding door open as much as possible with the fan on. Now let's get to the food and drinks. All inclusive is supposed to be special because you don't have to seek out good food and drinks. Unfortunately, the food we had was less than desirable. The room service shows up cold, the brunch buffet is nothing too special but when you've been drinking by the pool a while the pool side grill does solve some munchies. The drinks are fine, if you find a decent bartender tip well and the drinks will improve. Also they carry liquor that they don't show on the shelf so ask if you are looking for something specific. Also as a side note, if you are a light sleeper, get ready to be awoken around 5:30-6am. Music and entertainment start early. Also the staff pushes around carts over rough and bumpy sidewalks and the carts rattle like crazy. The resort does offer fantastic views, we had some good experiences at the bar down by the ocean with the swings, we also got to watch a baby sea turtle release. We had views of whales and watched some fishing boats catch a few big fish right off the coast. We also enjoyed our jacuzzi on the balcony. Luckily our friends know some good local restaurants so we were able to go off site for food and drinks and we had a great vacation. It wouldn't be my first option to try all inclusive nor the secrets brand again but maybe I will give it another shot someday.”
