“The most beautiful hotel Vancouver Island has to offer. The hotel is centrally situated across the harbour and is near all shopping areas, restaurants, attractions, legislature buildings and downtown.
The hotel has undergone renovations but still keeps its original look and has many reminders of its grand past. Photos and pictures of the hotels history can be found hanging on the walls which is a reminder of some the personalities who have stayed there in the past.
Sections of the hotel still boast some of the original decor and many pleasant reminders of its history can be seen throughout.
The lawns are well kept and maintained year round. Service is exceptional and friendly.
The rooms are beautiful and very well maintained and appointed as one would expect from any Fairmont hotel. If you get a room with harbour view this is a bonus as you can see the beautiful sunsets across the way.
This hotel is definitely a favourite and I recommend it to anyone planning a getaway to Victoria to consider staying there. COVID protocols are in place for patrons safety and comfort.”
