This place is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been coming here for years. If you stay for a few days you definitely will love it I'm sure!I LOVED staying at this hotel. It was beautiful and so close to the beach! We opened our sliding glass door to just to see and hear the waves from the beach every day we were there. The location was perfect with restaurants and stores all around us. I loved every day of our vacation!

I booked a partial ocean view king room for 10 nights and requested a high floor. When I arrived, they told me they had no high floors available unless I paid to upgrade my room. I asked if the upgrade was a full ocean view, and they said no.. which was weird since the only upgrade above mine was the full ocean view.We were given our room, which was in an entirely different building than I thought it would be. The partial ocean view was from a far distance in the building behind the building I thought we would be in. Really didn't make any sense. Unless you have really good eyesight, you can barely see anything. This was especially true for our room since we were on the low floor right above the kids pool. This in itself ruined our trip. Imagine listening to screaming kids all day jumping in and out of a pool. Not our idea of a RELAXING Hawaii vacation.I also paid a bunch of hidden fees that we weren't aware of when we booked. When we got to our room, there was black mold on the ceiling in the corner, and the balcony was dirty. Honestly, at this point, I should have complained again, but the front desk was useless since the moment I had arrived. We kept our mouths shut and just didn't spend much time at the hotel. I'm sure all that black mold wasn't good for our lungs even with the time we did stay there and slept there.The pool was always packed with people, and the hot tub was full to the point where people were squeezing in and on top of one another. Overall, the hotel was nothing like I imagined, and we were definitely ripped off. The mold was a huge concern. I was so excited for the pool area, but that was basically useless to us unless you don't mind overcrowded areas. The pool is way smaller than their pictures. The only positive to this hotel is the location and the exotic car rental company located in the main lobby. They were truly amazing and one of the highlights of our trip.I travel to Honolulu quite often, and I won't be staying here again..

We stayed here on our honeymoon. This was a beautiful hotel. The amenities were great, and we had such a nice view. We got the partial ocean view, and the hotel was a few minutes walk to Waikiki beach. They have an aquarium in the lobby which was pretty cool. The staff were super friendly, and we loved having the poolside drinks. We did get massages at the spa and they were amazing. I felt so relaxed.The location was convenient to walk to a lot of the restaurants and shops on the strip. I do recommend this hotel if you are honeymooning or a couple wanting to getaway. I definitely would stay here again!

Splurged for an oceanfront room with club access and didn't regret it. Renee helped us check in and she was incredible - funny, friendly and very helpful. Room was clean, bathroom a little tight, but the view was spectacular. Service was always quick when needed. Club access wasn't much more when I booked a room so worth it for us - breakfast buffet being the best perk. Evening hors d oeuvres were not as great, but nice area to sit and enjoy a free drink. Pool wasn't too big, but infinity pool with an ocean view is hard to beat! Highly recommend this place if you opt for a nicer room and don't need to pay much more for club access!

The resort is absolutely gorgeous. The Oceanarium is beautiful and they have live fish feedings you can watch. The room was large and spacious and even had a balcony with a partial ocean view. The pool is a little on the smaller side and can get packed quickly. Be sure to get there early if you want to snag a poolside chair. My only complaint with the resort was the wait for the elevators could be a bit long during peak times and the parking was a hassle. The resort allows public parking aside from the guest parking and the first 2 floors are reserved for valet only. This caused the parking garage to fill up quickly and finding a parking spot was just a game of luck depending on the time of day you return.

The hotel was BEAUTIFUL!!!!Our side of the hotel as far as the rooms,was a little dated but still nice.I didn't use their room cleaning service so I can't comment on that.I borrowed the mop, vacuum and cleaning supplies and cleaned my own room. (I always do) the hotel has a must see aquarium. Right across the street from the Waikiki Beach! Everything was lovely.One thing we weren't told was that on Fridays and Saturdays you need reservations for the pool area.It gets packed!

GREAT HOTEL!!We stayed here for 6 nights and also decided to upgrade to ocean front halfway through our trip. All employees are very nice and the building as a whole is very clean. The cleaning staff is super friendly, all the valet employees remember who you are and give suggestions on what to do and I worked almost every time with Renee at the front desk. Renee is beyond awesome and helped us tremendously. I love that the hotels driveway is not directly on the strip. The traffic is too congested to go in and out if you are dealing with a driveway directly on the strip. So that was a plus. The only thing that was a semi nuisance was renting chairs for the beach. The place was located 2-3 blocks away from the hotel. You have to go daily to this place. If you could rent them for multiple days at a time, that would be awesome! Other than that, the hotel is great. I would definitely recommend it and will be staying here again!

Shared a room for 2 nights with a girlfriend! Super comfortable beds, quiet at night (I always bring ear plugs too but I didn’t need them!), and good AC. Nice pool and hot tub. Good food and drinks at the pool. Nice staff. I would highly recommend, and I would love to come back for another girl’s trip. There are a lot of tasty restaurants nearby and an ABC store literally down the street. Waikiki beach nearby is pretty and fun vibes. The most crowded Hawaiian beach I’ve ever seen, but that didn’t bother me so much. They even provide beach towels when you leave the hotel.

This is hands down the most incredible hotel experiences of mine and my partners life. From the heated toilet seats, the views, the care and attention that EVERY SINGLE PERSON there gave was just absolutely over the top with perfection. We made a last minute change to our room and upgraded and they rushed to get the other room set up for the surprise birthday decorations for my partner. It was the most extraordinary experience and I will miss this place every single day until I come back. I would not stay in another place in Oahu. Hands down perfection.

The resort was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The included amenities and services (free beach rentals, continental breakfast,etc) were very nice. The Infinity pool is pretty but gets crowded quickly. If you want to layout, you'll want to go when the sun is high up; otherwise, the tall buildings block the sun. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. I definitely will come back

Vou listar os contras e depois os prós, pois acredito em avaliações transparentes, neutras e não tendenciosas.CONTRAS: - carpete velho, nojento e sujo nos corredores dos quartos em cada andar - enormes taxas ocultas (arrumação $ 40 por limpeza, $ 40 taxa de aluguel de espreguiçadeiras para a área da piscina, $ 400 aluguel de cabanas à beira da piscina, $ 35 café da manhã não incluído no quarto conforme anunciado) - atualização falsa. Reservei uma vista parcial para o mar, quarto em andar alto, e eles explicaram que me mudaram gratuitamente para uma vista para o mar. Infelizmente me decepcionei com hotel ! Desde a chegada que pedem cartão pra depósito , passei o cartão e falaram que não estava ok , passei outro e mostrei no app que todos haviam sido aprovados e mesmo hotel exigiu … enfim mais que isto o serviço de quarto , péssimo ! Não somos atendidos , não limpam o quarto todos os dias , até entendo q seria por conta da pandemia , mas nunca limpam . Sai cedo a passeios voltava ao quarto e nucna estava limpo !! Sempre tive que descer , ligar , pegar toalha pra Banho da piscina … lamentável !! Apenas piscina e localização mais nada , face a isto e pelo preço existem mais inúmeras opções melhores !Resumo : decepcionado

Not as advertised - insane hidden fees - gross carpet - fake upgrades I was fooled by the reviews, pictures, description, and overall rating of this "resort". I'll list the cons and then the pros since I believe in transparent, neutral, non biased reviews. CONS: - old, gross looking, dirty carpet in hallways to rooms on each floor - huge hidden fees (housekeeping $40 per cleaning, $40 lounge chair rental fee for pool area, $400 cabana rentals by the pool, $35 breakfast not included with room as advertised) - fake upgrade. I booked a partial ocean view, high floor room, and they explained they upgraded me for free to an ocean view. They lied and gave me the same room I booked as they could not prove which room they had me booked in prior to the upgrade. - The mini fridge was faulty and the door would not stay closed, causing us to lose lots of perishable items. - The pool area is "reserved" after 7pm and impossible to find a free place to sit. - Bed was older, spring mattresses, not pillow top or comfortable for a 5 star resort. - NOT a 5 star resort as most travel sites claim it to be. PROS: - Nice and friendly staff. - Decent views as most of the surrounding hotels have views of other hotels. - Centrally located in Waikiki, easy to get anywhere from there. Do your research, compare rates, look for hidden fees, upgrade items, know what it's actually included in your hotel or resort.

Check in on September 26, 2021.The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful.If you plan on visiting Hawaii I would recommend either having your vaccination card or having a PCR test done at is done at least 24 hours prior.Mask are strictly enforced. Compared to California where I'm from they have their covid protocols is in effect but they are much more efficient at it than we. It's no nonsense but still very friendly. Nobody is nobody is in your face calling you out on BS.TheRooms are clean and if you need anything they breanything they bring it up immediately.They provide onsite covid testing for $40.Since Hawaii requires a negative test within 48 hours of non vaccinated persons, This is very convenient.Plan on Paying a pretty penny for parking though at $48 A-day for self parking and $55 A-day for valet, You can plan on spending anywhere between $300 to $500 just for parking for your stay.There is a convenience store located did on the 1st floor, Opposite to most hotel stores I have visited around the world, this one is very reasonably priced. The gym is very well maintained with new equipment and was not very crowded. The pool is maintained and kept clean and has a great view of the beach.all in all, Our stay here has been very pleasant and I wouldn't mind coming back to this hotel again.

Initially I gave this hotel 1 star upon arrival as I got an “ocean view” and upon arrival was thoroughly disappointed with the view. I would definitely have categorized the room I received as a partial and felt deceived.While here I decided to give the hotel a second chance and upgraded to a premier ocean front. This changed my view slightly of the hotel. I was still disappointed with the overall room, especially the bathroom. My RV has a larger bathroom than this room. Note: the ocean view (less expensive) room has a larger bathroom than the premier ocean front room. The view was spectacular and the location was amazing. Is it as up to par as other 4 star hotels? No. The devil is in the details when staying at 4 to 5 star hotels and this hotel sadly is missing that.But would I stay here again? Sure, but only in the premier ocean front for the view and location. Staff is friendly but it seems they are understaffed which makes their jobs harder. Can’t blame them. Calling front desk is still difficult.The view made up for it though and my personal experience overall was satisfactory.

Really nice hotel, our view was amazing, but the bathroom and room itself were nothing to cheer about. Bathrooms were very small, and the room wasn't much bigger either. Beachfront rooms were truly amazing and watching surfers from before sunrise to after sunset was so much fun! The staff was great, and we enjoyed the pool and restaurants!

I saw other negative reviews but decided to come anyway thinking the complaints were exaggerated but I can say I had a terrible stay here. Please take heed to the negative reviews. The rooms are super small. Not very luxury at all. Guest services impossible to reach.Our air went out plus our lights in the bathroom and we had to get ready for a tour in the dark. I was charged $700 “by accident “ for a room that I was not even in. We asked for a microwave in our room and continued to be told it’s on its way up for 3 hours.I even tried to book a massage and have yet to reach someone. The “concierge” over charges you for excursions (go online for better deals). I travel so much and this has by far been my worse experience

A beautiful hotel lobby. The service was great, the employees at the hotel were very nice. Room was a King Bed with Partial Ocean View on the 9th floor and it was decent.Here are some cons: - the shower not having a door - the towels smelt after one use - terrible pillows - the pool bar area should be for a more mature crowd, unfortunately kids in the pool area ruined the vibesHere are the pros: - we had an amazing view even if it was just a partial ocean view - the location!!! - their restaurants, food was yummy - very delightful staffWould definitely stay at this hotel again.

The best part of staying here was the Longboard club. Micah and his cousin Anson were two of the best waiters I’ve ever had. They were so attentive, so quick to refill our drinks, and so nice and accommodating. They really made our groups trip that much more special. We were all blown away by their service! Thank you for such a special experience! 11/10!

First the good: the location. It’s right at Waikiki beach with a view to the beach. Walking distance from restaurants and shops. Lobby has a beautiful aquarium. That’s pretty much it for the pros. Staff is trying to accommodate but doesn’t have the resources to do so. The bad: it wants to be a luxury hotel but lacks attention to detail. The lobby area was dirty when we arrived. The carpet design makes it look dingy and add to the dirty feeling. Our room was not up to par. The toilet was broken and water keeps flowing. Walls are very thin and you can hear the conversation next door. No room service. We were told that there is only room cleaning every 2 days but then they failed to clean it on the day when they were supposed to. This hotel is definitely just a better off motel but no luxury hip hotel it claims to be. Overall for the same price, I can get a better hotel on the beach that is truly a 4 star hotel.

We really liked this hotel. It has a lot going for it but there were enough things to keep me from giving 5 stars. The lobby is beautiful. The rooms were nice. Good food options (make sure you go to the Italian food truck... fresh pasta that will rival anything you’ve eaten at the best restaurants). The pool deck is nice and has good food and drink options. And the location is right across the street from the beach. Yoko at the front desk was sweet and helpful. The not great: the rooms are a little beat up and not spotless (stain on the wall). The staff was mostly friendly, but not all that we interacted with were. They charge you to reserve loungers at the pool and then tell you they might not be available. All of the tables and fire pits are reserved ($150 for a fire pit table) and the cost seemed like a racket. The pool deck only gets sun for a limited amount of time being between the two towers and on the 5th floor.

It’s our second day here, and we already encountered numerous issues. WATCH OUT!! 1. The pictures advertised on their website are NO WHERE CLOSE to the actual view of the in room. At this point, I’d say it’s a scam. We had the diamond head view room. Look yourself. Set your expectations. 2. The check in line was long and slow. Try calling in after check in to avoid the line? Good luck. It took us four phone calls to talk to someone. 3. The room sound proof doesn’t exists!!!! This is the biggest deal breaker for us. We had a baby staying next door. Barely slept in our first night. They replaced us with a Mountain View room although we expressed that we prefer ocean view. Our vacation is ruined because of lack of sleep. 4. There lobby seems okay. Haven’t have chance to check out other places. But the furniture in the room is wrecked. Overall, set your expectations right. Hope you all have fun in Hawaii.

Un hotel estupendo en pleno Waikiki Beach. Una enorme pecera te recibe en el hall del hotel. Muy limpio y cuidado y buen servicio del personal. Muy accesible en coche. Eso sí, como en todos los hoteles de Honolulú, te cobran una tasa por habitación y noche, tanto mayor cuanto mejor es el hotel.

Está muy bien situado, justo delante de la playa de waikiki. Hotel de muchas plantas, con habitaciones amplias, confortables y limpias. Tubo de pasta de dientes gratis todos los dias. Agua gratuita en el hall. Wifi en todo el hotel.
