“very sketchy business. Gives Toronto a bad name. You can find better places to stay.”
— Coach Dave
“WORST HOSTEL EVER. I swear I will never come back. Extremely RUDE. I called at least 10 times to check-in and they always tell me send a text because we don’t respond to calls. They have a lot of numbers and you are simply lost between which number to call. After a long effort to reach them to check-in, I was given a different room for my first night because I was told I had checked in late knowing that it’s not true because I had informed them via their booking.com page that I’d arrive a little bit late. The first night was horrible, the room is basically a tuna can box and when you get inside it’s full of nasty bugs and unclean bed sheets and cover. Very cold and very noisy walls because it’s not well isolated. Also very pricey for this low quality hostel. The second night, someone has liked the entrance for the basement therefore I couldn’t access my room. I waited for one hour for someone to come and try to unlock the door tor me to go to sleep after a long day, it was raining and cold outside and the host came with a big chunk of keys to try them all at midnight so she can let me inside. A lot of hustle and bad communication between the staff that led to all of this. Also, they kept asking hot much did I pay and much long am I staying and what room am I in because they don’t have a follow up/ rigid system to check on customers. I asked for a partial refund for the first night and the room that I booked in which I didn’t get and they simply declined answering me even they declined responding to booking.com customer service. WORST SERVICE EVER. I don’t recommend. Also, homeless check in frequently if that’s an issue, don’t book here.”
