“Personal encantador y muy servicial; los espectáculos fantásticos y la comida deliciosa aunque muy enfocada al público norteamericano. Como único punto negativo, la gente de USA alojada que cree que todo es suyo, sin educación ni respeto hacia el personal y resto de huéspedes. Bajan a las 6:30 de la mañana para ocupar las tumbonas y se marchan hasta las 10/11 para disfrutar del sol..."a la sombra". Lo ocupan todo y no dejan a nadie para cuidarlo, se intentan colar en los restaurantes y arman jaleo por las noches... Pero vuelvo a repetir que personal de staff y servicios del 10”

My experience was absolutely wonderful. The entertainment staff was great and got the people going. Ivan, Alejandro, and Andy did a great job at organizing events to keep the guests entertained. They made my trip and I would definitely come back to see them. Overall, my experience was great and I would definitely recommend this resort to others.

What a wonderful and fun resort! We traveled with a group of students and had so much fun with the activities team working at the hotel. Every single day there were fun games like beach volleyball or dancing competitions by the pool that we loved to participate in. We played beach volleyball every day. Ivan was so funny, high energy, and charismatic we felt very comfortable to enjoy participating in all the activities the hotel had to offer. For example the pool game competitions where Ivan was a great MC that made us all want to cheer as loud as we could! It felt like the whole resort was at a party!
Thank you to Alejandro, Andy and Ivan for playing games, teaching us some Spanish, and showing us all of the exciting things the hotel puts on during the day, you can tell how hard they are working to make the environment of the hotel as fun and inviting as possible.
The resort has stretching classes and pool aerobics in the morning/mid day that are run by the team, these were a perfect balance for all of the eating and drinking we did during our vacation and also are not too long so you don't have to worry about taking too much time from suntanning.
As students, it is very important for us to feel safe and like we can enjoy our vacation without stress, we all agree that the activities team genuine personalities and high energy are some of our best memories of the trip, and allowed us to have the most fun we could.
It was sad to say goodby but we will defiantly be back for another game to win beach volleyball and dance at night by the pool bar (which had excellent music for dancing).
Thank you again to the activities team, the perfect group for having fun!

We had so much fun at Ocean Coral. All the staff were amazing and so very accommodating. Roberto at the buffet always went above and beyond for us, spoke excellent English, and always made us feel special. We also had great experiences at both the Sensai and Mexican restaurants with managers Romero and Erika. We truly had a blast at this resort and enjoyed every second of our vacation. Thank you so much for creating an amazing environment for our family to experience many new and lasting memories. We can’t wait to visit again!

Quiero resaltar el trato excelente del personal de animacion , los chicos del chill out-bar en concreto Gustavo, ya sabia que servirnos y eso que nos juntamos un grupo de 7 . El servicio del buffet era variado y en la noche podias reservar en los distintos restaurantes a la carta . La habitacion siempre nos la tenian impecable . Por poner una pega , a las 8 de la mañana ya estaban todas las tumbonas ocupadas . Si duda volveria a repetir el mismo hotel mil veces .

Disfrutar en el caribe, una experiencia súper agradable. Aunque mi estancia fue corta pude conocer las diversas áreas y actividades con las que cuenta el hotel. Primero disfruté del bowlingcon una rica mimosa y jugamos hockey de mesa en el área de diversión, reservamos y comimos delicioso con la gran variedad de restaurantes de especialidades con las que cuenta además cuenta con una cafetería perfecta para los coffe lover’s. El hotel es relativamente pequeño pero cuenta con áreas super bien, la atención de 10 super recomendado. Lo único, siento que es mas enfocado a la familia por lo cual si de armar un viaje con amigos se trata, tal vez no es la mejor opción.

La atención del personal es buena pero algunos hacen demasiada distinción entre nacionalidades, es un hotel para pasar un fin de semana o solo estar en plan relax, ya que está muy retirado zonas turísticas, los taxis cobran entre 1000 y 1200 para llevarte. El servicio a cuarto es limitado si no eres cliente privilege, no tienen en si un restaurante de snacks, por si en la tarde te da hambre o antojo de algo, el buffet prácticamente es lo mismo todos los días.. Vale mucho la pena cenar en el restaurante Villa del mar, Sensai e italiano..

Estuvimos 4 noches en hotel, todo muy bien. El personal es super amable y la playa está muy bonita y limpia. Los animadores son super buena onda. Ivan, Alex, Osmar, Yuli, Rubén y Fernando son muy agradables y trataron siempre de ponerle ambiente. Lo único que habría que mejorar es la variedad y el sabor de la comida. Fuera de eso todo súper bien.

El mejor hotel que he visitado, todos los detalles perfectos, completamente a gusto en mi estadía en el hotel, desde mi ingreso hasta la salida, el servicio es excepcional, la calidad de personas sobre todo es lo que más resaltode allí, ya que con sus atenciones se siente uno como en casa, mi lugar favorito el bar y mi amigo Henri que conocí allí, amistad que me traje de allá precisamente por su atención y amistad! The resort was mediocre to say the least. I have stayed at other h10s and had way better even. They tried....I guess is the rating I would give.Room service was pointless andnever answered their phones. We had to go down and order. The on sight restaurants were very select hours making lunch time nearly impossible to get decent food. Our room smelled ofstinky water and the sink never drained right even after telling costumer services.If you need a elevator, mind as well forget it.. we found ONE working elevator that was in the lobby that slams shut and yes it smashed me in it once...we were on the 4th floor and was significant walk from the main elevator..lord forbid I would have been wheelchair bound or brought my grandmother who can't climb stairs..this would have been a serious issue! Their outsourcing for excursions, were in my opinion overpriced as well. Your better off doing alittle research and planning yourself! Now for the positive marks. The waiters/ severs were smiling and willing to refill your drinks or food. The pools were clean. Entertainment at night was decent. The ocean view was also pretty good. Honestly the buffet servers were the best and attentive to needs. Also for the best meal plan to make a reservation at the hibachi was great entertainment and great food. I was fortunate enough to go with a great group of friends who I we all just smiled through the issues and made the best of the situation and still managed to have a good time. The photos I've posted are some of the positive highlights. If your looking for a cheap way to travel this will work but don't have to high of expectations you will be sadly disappointed.

No volvería a este lugar. Muchas cosas no me gustaron, tuvimos mal servicio de parte de meseras, tuvimos problemas con toallas, problemas con bloqueo de habitaciones, lentisimo el servicio de check in hasta 8 pm, para CASARTE menos, ni se les ocurra escoger este hotel. Las bebidas malísimas todas, son de las que seguro te duele la cabeza horrible, la comida en su mayoría muy mala, le dieron una tarjeta con cuarto ocupado a un familiar, a otro ni le tocaron y entraron como dueños de su casa, no cuidan los estándares de seguridad Covid y la gerente general Evelyn pésimo trato!! LUGAR AL QUE NUNCA VUELVES!

El hotel muy bonito sin embargo tuvimos una MUY mala experiencia con el servicio ya que fuimos a una boda y llovio y por tal motivo los organizadores del hotel querían cobrar más a los novios o cancelar la boda, no se vale.... fueron 60 invitados que pagaron todo incluido mas todo lo que pagaron los novios... el hotel se vio muy ventajoso....nos tuvieron 2 horas a todos en el lobby sin ofrecer ni atender nada porque querían seguir cobrando en pocas palabras muy mal servicio y atención ... en los restaurantes a veces atendían bien otras no... en fin

Our vacation was great.It’s a beautiful resort right next to the beach, I loved that you can see the beach from almost anywhere.Dinner options were very good.Not as many great breakfast or lunch options.The waitress at the pool bar was HUSTLING every day.She impressed me with how hard she worked.My biggest complaint is the spa.During our couples massage, the masseuse kept inappropriately touching my husband, turning a relaxing experience into an awkward and uncomfortable one.

RUDE STAFF.Daniel at the front desk was very rude.Mostly all the staff were either rude.or walked past you as if they didn't see you... ive been to Mexico maybe 4 times since the pandemic and this by far was the worse. We requested from the front desk a bell hop for the morning of departure and Daniel basically dismissed the fact that he never came..he even asked me what didn't I remind him? Rooms are very smelly from the bathroom..remotes doesn't work & the ELEVATOR wasn't working No staff offers to help when you as the guest are literally lost trying to find restaurants. Make reservations etc... Pool snack bar was NEVER OPENED MOST restaurants not open daily & your basically left to figure that out all on your own.. Rooom service never worked via the app..& when you call downstairs they don't answer... Our housekeeper..Jesus in the shuttle area & all of our buffet servers were AMAZING.COFFEE shop workers seemed irritated but not rude..... The entertainment crew was AMAZING the entire time.All of the restaurants had very good food..but what's good food with bad customer service.I will NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT. The RESORT OVERALL IS beautiful but needs new staff..We

Un excelente lugar con varias opciones para pasar un muy buen rato, amplias instalaciones, recorrido con un conjunto de reservas muy encantador, además de que tiene un área de gatos dónde puedes pasar horas admirando como se divierten los amigos felinos. La vegetación, los jardines y las decoraciones son encantadoras, ideal para hacerte un cliente frecuente 🤗. Por último resaltar la atención y cuidado que ponen a los detalles 😊.

This place is a joke. 2021 and the level of service is somewhere in the middle of last century. Don't believe there are any managers working here at all. There are basic stuff that no one even tried to fix it during our stay (Christmas and New Year Week). Starting from the beach - one row of umbrellas with total capacity of roughly 100 people. In order to be on the beach, need to leave some belongings on the the chairs no later than 7am. Need a beach towel - get on the line and be patient for them to bring some clean towels, out of them all day/every day. Need to eat on New Year's eve dinner? Good luck! Come out even the buffet needs a reservation (50% of the visitors had no idea). Instead of enjoying your night you are fighting for a chance to eat...(no matter that the buffet was occupied 30%, check the picture) Not fun at all, especially with hungry wife and kids around. The "manager" was so kind to deal with - threatening of calling security, asking my wife to sit down, because she is too tall... :) For last 10 years I haven't been in situations like that, we are going to different places 2-3 times per year. Hope they realized that without proper management every business is going down. We were a group of almost 100 people - be sure that non of us or any of our friends are coming back. There are many other things that can be mentioned, but don't feel like they deserve more of my time. Huge disappointment!

We stayed for 2 weeks at the end of November, and as always, it was an amazing trip to OCT. Going during the pandemic, we knew things might not be up to what we have grown to expect and although the first week was a little disappointing with the food, by the second week, things were back to what they always are…. Delicious! What makes this resort our favorite is the people. It was nice to see our old friends again and nice to meet new ones. They all made our stay comfortable and memorable. Here are some of the best people in the business: Ricardo at the Adult pool. Hardest worker we’ve ever seen. And so nice. We swear he’s got to put in 100k steps a day! Diego at the privilege bar - every morning when he saw us walk in, he poured our favorite drinks - so attentive! Edgar privilege breakfast - was so pleasant and knew exactly what we wanted. Ebasio (can’t remember his name probably because had a few drinks in us by the time he was on shift lol) in the privilege bar at night - he was great! Luis - privilege, always making sure everything is perfect! A big smile every morning and we swear he is everywhere. Jose Luis - at the privilege beach area was so amazing and took care of us every day. He truly made us feel special. Alfredo - hooked us up with some massages and an amazing spa day. Great guy! Susanna - have to mention Susanna in the morning privilege. She was quiet but always made sure we had our toast. Yesenia - was so friendly, informative and always greeted us with a big smile we could see through her mask Our hearts were full seeing all these great people healthy and back to work.As mentioned above, the food got better the longer we were there. The property is starting to show it’s age, but the cleaning crew keeps it looking good. We also appreciated that there were protocols in place (masks indoors, pool seats apart…) that kept us feeling safe.All in all, another great vacation. We are looking forward to the next one again soon!

People that are leaving 5-star reviews to this hotel - are you joking? This hotel does not worth even a cent. Our family vacation was ruined by its service:The tennis court is available until 11 pm. You want to play - pay $20 per hour for the lights. Great! The rooms are old, with licking showers and creaking beds far from the quin size. You want to go to the restaurants with your friends - please purchase a bottle of alcohol. You do not want to make a purchase- please enjoy the buffet. We spent over $500 on the alcohol. Great! Beach, Pool, Beach. You can not get a beach chair unless you wake up at 6 am or go to bed at 2 am. The picture of the resort with two lines of umbrellas is a big lie. There is only one row of chairs, and it is not enough to accommodate the hotel's guests. There is a constant shortage of towels too. The biggest disappointment is New Year Eve. I hope the entire buffet staff will be fired (that is what I wished them before I left). Over 40 people begged to get in and feed their children by the entrance. As we found out, the buffet that night was by reservations only. I asked a few times that day if any reservations were necessary, and the host assured us that we could just come in. We all had to fight with managers and break in to get the table. And of course, for us to enjoy some performance we had to purchase three bottles of prosecco to reserve a better view. I do not need any hotel management apologies. People read my review before you book your trip (especially with going with a big company). You go down the shoreline and find much better beaches and resorts there.

I would rate this place a 5 but I was deceived by the airport shuttle service. It turns out this resort DOES NOT offer airport shuttle service and I had to spend an additional $100 USD. However, I will rate this place a 4 for the simple fact they were able to accommodate a last minute reservation. The food, entertainment, and ambiance have been great so far. And may I also add that this place is extremely family friendly, the kids even get a chance to dance at night 🙌🏽🥳.And lastly, yes the rooms do smell like mold but it seems like this area is very humid so I’m sure it cannot be prevented.

We spent our two-week vacation in December 2021 at this resort, and it was a wonderful experience. Rooms are spacious and nicely designed. Service is excellent everywhere. Our special kudos to Hector, the manager of a buffet restaurant. He is a terrific professional knowing how to organizeteam work. The only problem that the management should resolve is lack of sun beds around swimming pools and on the beach.

Stayed for 8 days and it was a beautiful hotel. There's a variety of restaurants to choose from. Sunsets and moon rising.
Rooms: great size beds. Leave AC on due to the humidity. Fridge gets full everyday so if you go explore take waters and drinks with you.
Beach and pool: 3 different pools to lounge in and beach is clean with white sand.

Originally, since we booked a standard room we were placed in building 4. Immediately after walking into the room I could smell mold. I am VERY allergic to mold and started to have a reaction right away. We went back to the reception desk and upgraded to a privilege room (double the price), which we were told was not moldy. After speaking to other staff throughout our stay, we discovered that it was common knowledge that building 4 is moldy because during COVID they closed some of the buildings. I don’t understand why the hotel would place visitors in a mold filled room-it is dangerous and scary. Despite that, we had an okay-time. Food was hit or miss. The privilege area and lounge was nice. The beach was disappointing. Drinks were okay. We were disappointed in the wine-so we bought upgraded bottles. We had some really good service here and there. So after a couple days, we inquired at the privilege reception about staying another night or two because we had the time. This was a terrible experience. We probably spent 2-3 hours on our precious vacation and talked to 7 hotel staff about how to make this possible. Essentially, they determined to get the same rate-we had to book online. However, in order to book online you needed a 3 night minimum. We figured there should be some way to get around this with reception, especially because we were in one of the best rooms in the hotel and privilege status. We were like “Here’s our money, please figure out how to make this work”. They couldn’t do it. It was clear there was going to be quite a struggle to figure this out and we weren’t interested in pushing for the extra days anymore and we gave up. Overall, service definitely needs to be improved.

I booked this hotel for the bar in the pool, and it did not dissapoint. Mi amigo Diego was an excellent bartender, I did not go thirsty 😁. At the end of our visit, we had 30 min to spare and Gustavo was an excellent bartender until the end... The variety of the food was great!

We stayed for a 4 night get away.We will not be going back ever.We have been to many resorts and cruise a ton so we are totally fine with the all inclusive piece.Rooms: The rooms are a great size, bathrooms are large and clean.Bonus was the fan in the room which was perfect to keep air moving at night.The bed was hard as a rock.We did not sleep for 4 nights.Property: The pools are really nice and relaxing.We sat at the in pool bar most of the time and it as great.The beach is so so.There is a lot of seaweed but they do clean it up every morning.The resort for the most part was clean and well maintained.Food: The restaurants were pretty good for all inclusive.We really loved the hibachi, make your reservation early! The steak house was pretty good, the steak had zero color but tasted fine.Italian was our second favorite, the bread is delicious.The buffet for breakfast was great.The omelet station was by far the best.The lunch was terrible.We had a hard time finding things to eat at lunch every day. Most evenings had only 2 restaurants open.Even on the weekend that was packed, only 3 dinner option were available.People:The staff was really great.All were very attentive and would bring us drinks before we were completely out.We really loved ANGEL and DIEGO at the pool bar.COVID Test: the covid test was quick and easy.You are assigned an appointment within 24 hours of check in that follows your home country's guidelines.It is $35 USD per test and they take cash or credit.I am not sure if its a COVID era thing but the resort had a ton of weekend check ins from the local area. I do not think the resort is prepared to be at 100% capacity with the current staffing. The resort itself became dirty, the bathrooms out of the basics, cigarette butts were all over the public areas of the resort and restaurants full all the time. Unfortunately, the new arrivals really ruined the rest of our trip.We had 2 people sit down on our pool chairs ON TOP OF all of our stuff (towels, phones, books, backpack) and then when asked to move acted like they had no idea the chair was taken. They had kids running around all over the pool bar area, splashing and jumping into the pool right by the bar.I am all about families having a good time but be respectful of others around you.

El hotel está bastante bonito y la atención del personal que nos ha tocado muy buena, tanto en el lobby como en la alberca y la playa. Mi novio y yo llegamos hoy celebrando aniversario, llamamos antes de venir para informar y de nuevo lo mencionamos al llegar, nos decepcionó un poco llegar y no hallar algo que nos hiciera sentir que lo celebran con nosotros. De otra forma, no veo sentido que nos hayan preguntado

1st time at this resort, ocean view room a must!! Not too big of a resort, beautiful & clean, directly on the beach. Plenty of restaurant choices, but our favorite was the buffet, the selection was great every night - especially mexican night! But the best part were the servers - Roberto, Edna, Rosaura and Evelyn, so attentive and make you feel like family. If you ever visit ask for to sit in one of their sections😁

The staff at the resort are amazing, super friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and taken care of daily. No complaints whatsoever. I read some negative posts about cats on the property, I'm not a fan of cats at all however the cats are taken care of and seem to keep to themselves. I witnessed more iguanas among the guests than cats.

Stayed 2 weeks. I already put my first week review in. Here's my second. Gotta give props to my Butler Enrique. He helped us with reservations and obtaining items that were not available on site. I want sure that I would like this resort because I usually stay at an adult only one. I enjoyed it. They do have an adults only pool. See Jose Luis for anything you need, chairs, towels etc. Can't wait to return!

Hotel encontra-se degradado, o que é uma pena, pois com algum cuidado poderia ser muito bom. Reservamos 1 semana de 27--11 a 24-12 Foi-nos atribuído o quarto 17205. O quarto tem a cortina corta luz mal pendurada pelo que não fecha ao centro. O chuveiro tem a mangueira rota pelo que sai mais água pela mangueira do que pelo chuveiro. Não nos deixaram toalhas de rosto. Na primeira noite partiram-nos o carregador ao arrastar a cama. A hora das refeições é um pesadelo. No Restaurante buffet Casa del Mar ao jantar, com imensas mesas vazias formam-se filas no exterior a aguardar que os conduzam a uma mesa onde poderiam já estar sentados. A comida que termina não é reposta pelo que sao mais os acompanhamentos do que a proteína principal, o que torna difícil fazer uma refeição correcta. A resposta do responsável é que têm falta de funcionários, e ofereceu-nos para nos trazer uma bebida, inacreditavel... Nos restaurantes temáticos e referido que não é necessário marcação... Também o site não funciona... Mas após esperarmos 1/2 hora na fila no exterior às 20h e só após um dos hóspedes ter entrado para reclamar, nos foi dito que o restaurante estava todo reservado. In terrogamo-nos como era possível pelo que contactámos o Guest Service, ao fim de algum tempo de diálogo foi-nos dito que quando os restaurantes abrem às 18h.devemos marcar o mesmo... Completamente de loucos, com estas atitudes estragam-nos as férias e pela primeira vez numa vida de viagens por todo o mundo desejei que me devolvessem o dinheiro e sair imediatamente do hotel!!!! Pagámos estadia num hotel de 5 estrelas mas nem 1 estrelas apresenta. Espero que tomem medidas concretas e aguardo uma resposta correcta com soluções.

Personal encantador y muy servicial; los espectáculos fantásticos y la comida deliciosa aunque muy enfocada al público norteamericano. Como único punto negativo, la gente de USA alojada que cree que todo es suyo, sin educación ni respeto hacia el personal y resto de huéspedes. Bajan a las 6:30 de la mañana para ocupar las tumbonas y se marchan hasta las 10/11 para disfrutar del sol..."a la sombra". Lo ocupan todo y no dejan a nadie para cuidarlo, se intentan colar en los restaurantes y arman jaleo por las noches... Pero vuelvo a repetir que personal de staff y servicios del 10

La gastronomía deja que desear, el bufet algunos días variado y otros muy poco.. los restaurantes a la carta son solo para clientes privilegie ya q solo ellos pueden reservar y el resto solo puede ir a mendigar una mesa q se desocupe esperando a veces más de una hora. Para mi gusto faltan bares..Diferencian mucho los huéspedes privilegie en todo los aspectos cosa q no es tan alevosa en otros hoteles..(al menos q yo he visitado). Las actividades de entretenimiento son muy escasa,en mi caso me toco varios días con mal tiempo y por momentos no se sabe q hacer en el hotel y sumado a que esta muy alejado de todo, resulta poco entretenido en días q no se puede aprovecharla playa..le doy 3 estrellas de puntuación, por las habitaciones y el edilicio que es vistoso.. la atención del personal en general es muy buena salvo alguna excepción.. la ubicación y la playa no son las mejores bajo ningún punto.. Fui con la expectativa muy alta y no cumplió para nada con dicha, al menos esta fue mi experiencia..

Hay hoteles con mejor precio y mejoresAún estoy hospedado en el hotel y no ha sido una grata experiencia , pienso que no volvería a contratar sus servicios Racistas en atención al turista mexicano , no todos los meseros pero si algunos dejan mucho que desear , te dejan esperando por las bebidas o no te retiran los platos sucios aunque alrededor haya muchos extranjeros que a ellos si les retiran los platos . No funcionan los elevadores y en mi caso tengo bebé y es muy complicado trasladarme . Instalaciones muy antiguas. Agua con olor a sargazo Comida es la misma todos los días y no tiene un sabor exquisito. Deben explotar más el potencial del hotel .

We have been coming here for 7 years now and it is always wonderful, whether we want to adventure or just hang out on the beach. The staff at Ocean Coral & Turquesa are wonderful. Ricardo at the adult pool is always so attentive and friendly (and he lets me practice my Spanish without laughing at me 😆). We mostly spent our time at the Privilege Beach and Ricardo made sure we always has beverages and treated us like friends. He is a truly excellent employee. We always feel very cared for and appreciated as members here. We love the perks that come with the Privilege membership — the exclusive beach, Privilege Lounge, upgraded rooms, and service from the fantastic Ricardo. Honestly this is such a wonderful getaway and we would recommend to anyone!

Estou aqui hospedada à 8 dias e só posso dizer uma coisa explendido, desde limpeza comida decoração animação, e passando pela simpatia dos funcionários em geral top e os do bar da piscina são muito profissionais. Recomendo este resort.

O Hotel tem boas opções de restaurantes, café e bar. Boa comida, limpo, organizado. Wi-Fi a princípio não estava funcionando no quarto, depois de 3 dias normalizou. Super recomendo para família.

I visited the hotel with my granddaughters, Katie and Laura, all the time we were in the pool of the daisy club, the Girls Ximena and Karla were super attentive to us, especially to make the girls happy in the club, they did different activities such as bracelets, cupcake decoration, it was really incredible, we hope to return soon!

fui con mi esposa y 2 hijas, fueron unas vacaciones cortas pero las disfrutamos bastante, las piscinas son amplias y puedes mantener tu distancia, la comida es buena, las habitaciones son cómodas aunque algunas veces se siente mucha humedad, las chicas del kids club son muy amables, gracias Karla y Ximena por cuidar bien a mis hijas, regresamos en unos meses

El hotel es increíble. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y las camas son comodísimas. La cantidad de restaurantes que tiene hace que no seas capaz de repetir plato si no quieres. Todo el personal es increíblemente amable y siempre están con una sonrisa.Mención aparte se merece el equipo de animación, en especial Jorge y Adriana. Siempre intentando que lo pases bien y ofreciendo juegos divertidos para que el día se pase volando.

Wow!! Superaron mis expectativas por mucho!!! Stayed at Ocean after being recommended by a friend.. have to say it was one of the best trips! The entrainment team was amazing! Hotel and room were clean! Amazing COVID protocol and the staff was so kind and helpful!! Definitely recommend! The entertainment team were the best!! Adri and the boys were so sweet, we had the best time thanks to them 💓💓

The location makes it very expensive to go anywhere since it’s somewhat far from the main tourist attractions. They also allow sales staff (H10 staff) to pretend to be guest services to get you to attend their timeshare meetings - when we arrived they pretended to be the people who sets you up with covid tests for when you leave and for us they held onto our bags and begged us to help the rep by going to the timeshare meetings). The timeshare sales staff were incredibly rude and pushy. The location is also challenging because they don’t allow Uber into Puerto Morelos, meaning your kind of at the mercy of the taxi companies. You can get a rental for around 70UsD from guest services (Alamo is really good since it’s 100% coverage by default), and is often cheaper than a round trip taxi going anywhere at all.The rooms are nice though and the resort is well maintained. Food is decent for an all inclusive. If you plan to spend most of your time on site, it’s good value for money so long as you avoid H10 staff at all costs. If it’s your first time I would say you spend more with the additional transportation costs and would not recommend this hotel at all.

Una experiencia increíble, el trato ha sido increíble, destacar la ayuda y generosidad que Gabriel nos brindo con las maletas!!! Lo único malo que el fin de semana había muchas familias locales, que no respetaban las normas del lugar, comiendo dentro de la piscina, bebiendo y dejando la zona en malas condiciones. We had a great time overall. Our best experience was with MANUEL at Villa Marina restaurant. We asked for him to serve us again on the second time we went, since he is extremely polite, profesional, attentive, and made us feel the love. Please ask for him to be your server! They need to hire more people like MANUEL in order to keep happy guests like us coming back… he is definitely one reason why I would recommend this hotel to friends and family!

This resort did not meet my expectations. If you’re looking for a place to lay on the beach this place is not it, there is seaweed everywhere. We went in a group and paid for “privilege” but there was nothing special about it. Not to mention the customer service in privilege does not care about your concerns at all. One of our group members had a leak in their room and closet and blamed them for it which is unacceptable. The food wasn’tgreat, the only place that was is the Privilege restaurant and Route 66. The Hibachi place was closed half the time we were there and you have to make a reservation the day before. I highly do not recommend Villa Marina which is the steak house. We waited over 1 hour to be seated and what felt like 3 hours to eat just to be very disappointed in their steaks. Pools close at 6pm. Entertainment ends at 11 and if you’re looking for a club there is none in the resort. We made the best of our trip, but we won’t be going back to that resort.

What a disaster. The customer service at privilege is nonexistent. First time on vacation that we called Delta to see if we can push our flight up and leave early.A big positive is they do take covid precautions seriously. With that said, we lost a mask and there are no complimentary masks anywhere on the property. They have a small shop that sells them for $8 but you have to have exact change. We walked around the lobby and not one employee was able to assist in either giving change or advising us where we can.The hotel seemed like it was good in its hay day. Now the elevators are turned off. They ac is preset for you and is uncomfortably warm. As a guest you cannot turn it down past about 74 (it’s also a bit odd that they have these motion detectors in the room that link to the ac.The beach at the hotel is filled with seaweed. Unlike some of the other hotels in the area they don’t actively keep the beach free from seaweed.Highly recommend to check more of the recent reviews as the older ones are no longer an accurate description of the hotel. I would avoid.

My group enjoyed our trip to Mexico, but the stay at this resort was the biggest downside. The lobby & general appearance of the resort leads one to believe that it is a modern, up to date hotel, and it is not. I HATED the rooms. They are seriously out of date & uncomfortable. Our room was humid the entire trip. So humid that everything- the bed, floor, our clothing, was continuously damp. Nothing would dry. Not even our wet swimsuits that we left hanging to dry. Because the restaurants were really hot, you end up sweating through your meal and having to go take another shower in a room where you are also sweating, which meant no relief. The sockets in the room wouldn’t really charge our devices. The deadbolt on our door was broken. We opened our door to a raccoon on two separate nights. The food is sub par. We were hungry our entire stay. Our friends upgraded their room and it was identical to ours, so not an actual upgrade. It smelled our entire trip! I understand that the smell was caused by the seaweed issue, but we traveled to other places (excursions, resorts, shopping, etc)and were not met with the same awful smell. The smell with the heat was almost unbearable. The majority of the staff were SUPER nice & helpful. Overall, my entire group agreed that we would never stay here again or recommend.

We just got back from a stay at this hotel yesterday -7/5/2021. I booked this based on the reviews I read and I can tell you this is NOT a 4 star resort. It is 2 1/2 maybe 3 at best. If you are booked to go there this summer BE ADVISED the beaches are covered with seaweed - which is not the hotels fault but what IS their fault is they are doing NOTHING to resolve the issue. The entire places REEKS of rotting seaweed, it is so bad that the gasses put off by the rotting seaweed caused all my silver jewelry to tarnish. The BEACH is 100% UNUSABLE. Other properties in the area are cleaning with machines and with people all day every day - here they are literally doing nothing. One of the restaurants was NEVER open the entire 5 days of our stay, others were only open intermittently. Honestly the only time I ever really felt like the staff was attentive was when they were trying to sell something. Additionally we had the WORST experience we have ever had on an excursion that we booked with the group that is by the main pool. We will not stay at an Oceans property in the future after this experience. If you are headed there in the near future I would seriously consider finding another hotel.

Lugar excelente, considerando que a climatização ainda não é perfeita, que a limpeza dos quartos é feita muito tarde e que alguns restaurantes estão fechados. Escolha as habitações do segundo e terceiro andar voltada para a piscina de adultos,assim você evita o forte cheiro de umidade e o barulho da piscina principal.

I will be surprised if this resort is not closed or sold in the near future. There is no staff to help, the staff that is remaining has low demeanor. We learned quickly that 2 or 3 plates of food needed to be ordered because for 1 the steaks would come seared on the outside, raw in the middle, or 2 well-done. We had good luck ordering multiple plates and picked through them to get enough to eat. The pools are clean and relaxing, the rooms are nice.

We upgraded to Privilege. It was nice to eat breakfast in the Privilege Lounge.
The room was nice and spacious. The staff was not very friendly or helpful and the food was just okay. Not quite what comes to mind when on a vacation in Mexico.
We were unable to get in the ocean because of the amount of seaweed you would have to climb through. The Privilege private beach area was a great spot to sit to be near the ocean and it wasn’t usually crowded.
All the pools were over crowded and there was no chance of getting a chair unless you were out at 4am to put a towel down.
It wasn’t a horrible stay but I can’t say I’d choose this place again if returning for vacation.

One of the girls on our trip had money stolen from her room while at dinner. We all knew our stuff was being gone through because things in our room were moved while we were away so most of us locked our things in the safe. Sadly her safe didn’t work and therefor she had 50.00 stolen. It’s not about the money but more about security. It’s so sad that we can’t go on vacation and stay safe. The hotel manager did not take the complaint seriously and did not make us feel welcome or safe. If you stay here lock up your stuff!!! Also, the staff did not care to help us with anything that was not at an additional cost. Drinks were not served if they were part of the all inclusive package. The only way you received decent service is if you purchased something that you had to pay in addition for. I have been to many all inclusive resorts and have not been treated this way. I would steer clear of this one.

Beautiful place the only thing I didnt like is they changed our room to further away from everything. We asked for room ground floor and a wheel chair for my mother. We had to call every time and wait for the wheel chair. Then they didn't understand me as to where we were going. Get one to go to dinner had to call for pick up so we decided to start pusher my mother around on her Walker. We still enjoyed the trip even though more work to it

Amazing experience here. best Japanese dining ever - ask for Steven Seagal, amazing table entertainment! Great people, beautiful beach and super friendly staff. The Italian restaurant food was great too. The inside of the rooms can use slight upgrade but the property overall is superb. Perfect place for family and kids! Also the kids play area staff is excellent especially Doris and the lifeguard. Always watchful of the kids and entertaining.

Great overall, with awesome clean rooms. I usually hate hotel room beds.. but I didn't flinch in this one. It was Very fresh and clean. And the shows were magnificent; awesome talent shown. I would suggest them providing more staff for check in... since that process was extremely slow. Not to mention I came in a very hot season and there were no fans or cooling air felt during the wait. And I wish the ocean was less muggy and not as full of algae. But otherwise, great smaller resort to enjoy a quick get away.
