“This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Europe! On entry into my room the towels smelled like vomit. The refrigerator didn’t work, the body wash was empty. I understand using large multi-use body wash containers in the room but you must at least fill them to pretend like you care about cleaning between tenants. Rude staff yelled at my family for having water in the lounge that was purchased outside the hotel. It was 32 degrees (90F) outside. And we’d been hiking the city all morning. I rented 2 rooms for 2 nights and was treated like dirt. Informed the management of my complaints but was entirely dismissed. DO NOT STAY HERE. Find somewhere that appreciates your business. Much more rude than any hotel staff I’ve encountered in France or Switzerland on this trip or any other trip to Europe.”

“Expected Novotel experience, service very reasonable, price very reasonable for Monte Carlo. Nice small pool suitable for kids splashing around, but not many sun loungers. We went for B&B, but if not including breakfast as part of your package, there is a boulangerie 50m away.
NB if coming from the train station, the go up the escalators to the ticketing floor, then take the lifts up to the upper exit.”
