“Please inform your staff that not all Brazilians have a “CPF number”, specially Brazilians born outside Brazil. I paid for 2 rooms months ago but couldn’t check in because they wanted the Brazilian CPF number, I don’t live in Brazil and I simply don’t use it. I had 2 kids very tired and crying while waiting. Front desk “Roberto” made it very clear he was being very nice to me letting me check in after showing my US passport. There are many nice hotels in this area, I will never return.”

“Very disappointing response to when I needed to reduce my booked stay from 2 nights to 1 night. The Accor booking system does not let you do so online so I had to cancel and then rebook (at a nearby Mercure). The cancellation was acknowledged by email, but with no mention of the full refund which was due as I cancelled more than 5 days before my stay. I had to ring the hotel who then manually activated the refund. I will be in Brasilia the week after next and will reconsider whether I stay there in the Mercure (which is a brand I usually like).”
