“Food was decent but nothing special. Biggest issue was lack of ability to make reservations at restaurants. So you sit in line for 45 minutes to potentially not get a spot if they fill up.... at an all inclusive resort. Hotel manager made reservations for us after we expressed the safety issues with waiting in line during a pandemic. Beach view was good. Would go back for a cheap weekend but there are better upscale options nearby.”

“Nos enteramos que el hotel estaba en refacción, pero la verdad que si lo tienen abierto, deberían seguir atendiendo como si no lo estuviera.1) Atención mediocre: el personal carecía de educación y dedicación. Si bien reconozco que mi inglés deja bastante que desear, no le ponían voluntad. Una empleada cubana nos comentó que en general hay bronca con los latinos, incluida ella como empleada.2) Para la playa todos los días había que pedir las reposeras y la sombrilla. Esto es para que quien las coloca reciba su propina. En un hotel 5 estrellas, esto no se ve bien.3) Cucarachas en la habitación: todos los días le pegábamos un zapatazo a alguna.4) Hotel en refacción: ruidos molestos a horas tempranas. Llamamos a administración y media hora después vino un maestranza a revisar el problema. Se fue y no volvió más. Bajé a recepción y tardaron más de media hora en encontrar una habitación de reemplazo. Tardaron más de 1 hs y media en darle solución al problema, acortando sustancialmente las horas de sueño previo al vuelo.7) Exigencia fuera de lugar: para entrar a ciertos restaurantes, exigían pantalones largos. Si bien a mi parecer en un lugar caribeño es una ridiculez, el hotel no estaba a la altura de exigir nada de eso.”

We loved our stay and would go back again! The entire staff is VERY friendly and accommodating. The food is wonderful with tons of variety. The drinks flow all day and night. The beach is absolutely stunning; soft sand, crystal blue water, no sea weed. Activities if you are interested, or just lay around all day. Plenty of lounge chairs in the sun and the shade. The entire resort is spotless and cleaned constantly. Great value!

We just returned from a 5 day vacation at this hotel. It was absolutely perfect. My husband and I love Hyatt and Marriott hotels and we were a little skeptical after reading some bad reviews. The place is spotless and beautiful. The staff is always cleaning and the food was delicious. So much to choose from at all hours .Top notch service, beach was also beautiful. No problem with elevators at all. We were in room 1430. A larger room with floor to ceiling windows. Beautiful!

The hotel is awesome, the staff deserves a major bonus, security, hospitality, house keeping, front desk, dining rooms, grounds keeper's all get kudos for going above and beyond their normal duties. I have read a lot of negative reviews and I can say that I did not experience any of those issues. The food was Awesome and freshly prepared daily, even the taxi driver's was so pleasant and a joy to meet. The nightly entertainment was very nice.

Great hotel! The food in the buffet was amazing each time! The specialty restaurants were hit or miss, I personally would not attend again. This hotel is in close proximity to Atlantis and downtown Nassau. Most of the staff were very helpful and sweet. Our room was clean. Front desk can sometimes be hard to get ahold of. I’d recommend using the app for any room service requests, they tend to respond more quickly. I wish the beach had more access to chairs and umbrellas. If you reach down there late, you may not get one. Overall, I would definitely return again. The price is pretty good for the quality!

Solid 4 hotel in my opinion. Food was probably the best part. Choice of food was excellent and quality was pretty good also. Like the that the internal restaurants are part of the all inclusive package too! Rooms were okay, but wouldn't say 5 star quality. The hotel really needs more amenities. A games room for example. Staff overall were nice and helpful. The main issue we found was that there are no washing facilities poolside and if you want a later checkout it was 20 dollars an hour per person which is crazy! Unfortunately, overall we wouldn't stay at this hotel again despite some positives.

Overall this is a great vacation location. I have stayed now at a few resorts throughout the Caribbean and this one by far had the best food. The restaurants were all delicious (lots of options) and the buffet had many options at all times in the event someone didn't like something. My picky mother even found a lot on the buffet to be happy with. The resort is really only one building and the outdoor pool and beach. This means you don't have to walk far for anything, but also means you don't get to walk between your meals like you do at some of the bigger complexes 😉. Staff was very friendly and the shows were usually okay. There was a nice swim up bar overlooking the ocean and the main pool had a huge ramp leading into it for easy access for anyone. No kids was a first for me and I found it relaxing, but Atlantis is right next door for those who want to bring families to the area. The ocean was crystal clear, like clearer then all the places in Mexico and Jamaica I have been. Just gorgeous, but it was windy enough not to allow us to swim for a few days. That's not the hotels fault as they just tried to keep us all safe. 100% would recommend for any couple or group to enjoy some time together down south. I did take off a star for the rooms as they seemed inconsistent. My parents had a king and my wife and I had two twins pushed together. They're also a little dated, but don't stay inside if you are there.

Travel Agent here, with Out of My Bubble Adventure. I just want to share a little bit of our experience. Upon arrival was very welcomed by receptionist Mr. Kenny. Who was very professional and very considerate of our situation. Our room number was #1422 which had a amazing view, with great accommodations(all exclusive) I truly enjoyed karaoke night which by the way so grand. The drinks are strong just like we like them, can’t go on vacation and gave just flavored water liquor. We definitely had a amazing time with the staff. I have to give this hotel 5 ⭐️ for delivering awesomeness. Food everywhere from buffets to just casual dinners. Bellhop 💁‍♂️ was amazingly helpful and nice. Now out of our whole experience there was one slight issue, very small. First time in the Bahamas. The beach was the best part of this hotel. The water was amazing, beautiful. A little disappointed that I didn't get to try all the restaurants as they were all open on certain days, kind of on a rotating schedule. But the staff was cool, drinks did the job. Only complaint is the amount of vendors on the beach CONSTANTLY hounding you to buy something. I mean I came here to relax not to be asked about the same thing every 5 min! Rooms could be updated too.. but all in all bf and I had a great time.

This resort was incredible. The service was outstanding because the workers are so friendly and hospitable! The food was the best I've ever had at an all inclusive resort. The alcoholic drinks were very strong and tasty.The views were absolutely breathtaking! The beach is beautiful and the water is crystal clear. This is the best Riu property I've been to. I can’t say enough good things about this resort. This was my first trip to the Bahamas and I’m so glad we chose to stay here. The staff members were the most hardworking and dedicated staff I have ever seen anywhere. The food was amazing. The bartenders and atmosphere in the club was great! We ate at Krystal and the Japanese restaurant - the food was superb. The food at the buffet was always hot and fresh and we didn’t experience any lengthy wait times to get in. The room was immaculately cleaned and anything extra that we needed was provided quickly and efficiently. Thank you to all the staff that made our trip memorable ❤️❤️❤️

Food was the best all inclusive food we have ever had. Because it is a smaller resort I feel they used quality food. It was always hot. If you choose not to eat at the restaurants the buffet was always good. The drinks are not watered down. Service is great all around the resort. Everyone is very helpful. It is very clean. We would definitely go back!

My friend and I stayed ant the RUI for 6 nights. The location and access to the beach is great. However when you Check in they tell you no reservations are required to dine in but they don’t tell you to get there in line at 6 and still risk not being able to eat. We tried to eat three nights at all restaurants with no luck. We stayed there 6 nights and was only able to enjoy the buffet. Also the swim up bar is closed which gets to be a hassle going in and out of the pool for drinks. The people on the Bahamas are friendly but sometimes when we called the front desk or room service it felt like a burden. Beautiful location but I will not stay there again.

The staff at this resort are absolutely amazing, the best I've experienced and I've been to many resorts.The food was really good too and we had no issue getting to any restaurant as we lined up at 6 pm.We enjoyed the breakfast buffet as well.The steakhouse was our favorite.The room service was also good and right on time each morning with our coffee. The beach is absolutely amazing.The room was fine except we had a very slow draining shower which ended up like a bath when 2 ppl needed to shower.We reported the issue and it was not able to be fixed so they offered to move our room.The staff was also constantly cleaning.We will definitely be back to this resort and I hope they realize how amazing their staff is.

We just got back from our stay at the Riu hotel on Paradise island! I wanted to write a review to debunk some of the bad ones I read before our trip! We arrived at our hotel right at check in time so we were first in line! It does take a little while to check in due to Covid but we received welcome drinks and didn't mind the little wait. Our room was clean, great view of the ocean! We stayed from Sunday-Sunday. During the week, we had NO issues with the elevators being slow, but of course on weekends it can slow down a bit when there are many people going up and down. The buffet is the best choice for food hands down, the staff in all the restaurants are so nice and helpful but the food at the buffet is the best!! They change options everyday and had so many choices! Pool and beach are both fabulous! We made so many friends during our stay! All the guests were just excited to be there and ready to mingle! Pool was really fun with dance music! We would typically finish off our nights in the bar where there were games, karaoke, and dancing. We would 100% return to stay again!pro tips: -Bring your own tumbler if you are looking to not go back and forth to the bar.The bartenders are happy to fill a thermos for you! -Restaurants don't take resv. but you can get a buzzer and wait in the bar for your table to be ready! -There are vendors on the beach but you can always polity say "no thank you" if you aren't interested but they are nice people just trying to make a living. -Keep a positive attitude, enjoy your stay, remember you are on vacation!!

Been to many, many hotels in the Caribbean, and without fear of being wrong this is the worst.It is not the service, their employees are very friendly and try to help you, but they have no way to help you.I came with my wife and some friends and we have to queue up for dinner, for example today we have from 6pm waiting for lunch, yesterday we ate because we asked the manager and so we could eat, if you want to pay dearly for a 5-star hotel to have to order to eat do not hesitate to come, I do not recommend it, I give it a star because I have no way to give it zero!He ido a muchísimos hoteles en el caribe, y sin temor a equivocarme este es el peor. No es el servicio, sus empleados son muy amables y tratan de ayudarte, pero no tienen como ayudarte. Vine con mi esposa y unos amigos y tenemos que hacer fila hasta para cenar, por ejemplo hoy tenemos desde las 6pm esperando para comer, ayer comimos porque solicitamos al manager y así pudimos comer, si quiere pagar caro por un hotel 5 estrellas para tener que pedir para comer no dudes en venir, no lo recomiendo, le doy una estrella porque no tengo como darle cero!

Una muy mala experiencia. El personal es muy poco profesional, los empleados del bar ubicado en la alberca son goreseros y agresivos, mi esposa y yo tuvimos un altercado con ellos, fue muy desagradable. El resto del personal es poco amable y muy poco tolerante con las personas que no hablan Ingles. Con algunas honrosas excepciones, podria calificar el servicio como muy pobre. Las instalaciones y la comida son buenas, lastima del personal que tienen. Pareciera que carecen de supervision. Mi consejo para los que puedan leer este mensaje es que no vayan a este hotel.En respuesta a los comentarios del propietario,a mi tambien me sorprende que una cadena como Riu no se haya dado cuenta del comportamiento de sus empleados en uno de sus hoteles. Si realmente les interesa lo que hacen sus empleados en este hotel tal vez deberian investigar que es lo que pasa realmente. Mi esposa y yo hicimos un viaje de 12 horas para estar ahi, pagamos mucho dinero y a cambio recibimos un trato miserable. La agresion que recibimos de parte de los empleados del bar de la alberca fue muy real. Ojala tengan camaras y puedan revisar los hechos,ocurrio el viernes 30 de Julio como a las 5.00 pm. Y reitero mi consejo a quienes pretendan viajar a este hotel,busquen otras opciones en las cuales su dinero y su esfuerzo por estar ahi sean retribuidas con buen servicio.P.D. Si leen los tres comentarios negativos que estan cercanos en fecha al mio podran observar que son hechos por Hispanos, curioso no?

All the employees were so nice.Each time we had a question or needed assistance they were there to help.Our son's wedding at the resort was wonderful.They had it set up so nice and the cake they did was beautiful.Only thing that would have been nice would be deserts for diabetics.My husband missed some sweets.

People are really friendly. But I didn’t pay to have to stand on line to be able to eat. And after do the line, be told that the restaurant is full when all tablets are empty. They tell you that reservation is not needed but when you go the restaurants all are full. It is all inclusive! So why can’t I eat when I want to? Pool closes at 6pm and really no that much to do. I won’t be back ever to this hotel. You can go to other places for the same money and have better service. I was expecting more from Riu.

Nice hotel and updated, our room was pretty small but nice it was on the top floor and had a nice view of the beach, water is really beautiful as well only down side is that they give you very small throw away cups for drinks and you need to constantly refill so we ended up going to a local store and bought some nice cups to use instead, the food was not that great either and had the same menu the entire time we stayed.Would visit again had a good time over all also very close to Atlantis if you like to gamble.

Beautiful location. The beach and pool were perfect. (Other than the swim up bar not being open). The drinks outside were bottom shelf. Inside much better. The staff was very friendly. The food was mostly good. The Japanese restaurant was my favorite. I do feel like there could have been more options for dining and also for eating throughout the day/night. Certain times during the day there's nothing open. At night the only option is room service which took a long time. The rooms are nice and have everything you need.

Clean rooms, employees were kind and professional, steps to the beach, amazing food choices and great views from the hotel room. Great getaway to rejuvenate, relax and enjoy. Reasonable costs for all inclusive, quality and service. Had a wonderful time and would most likely re-visit in the near future.

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. The resort is 18+ so you don't have to worry about kids. It is an all-inclusive resort. The buffet breakfast and lunch were great, fresh with many selections available. For dinner, the buffet was available and there were formal dinner restaurants options as well. Making reservations were simple. Service was excellent throughout our stay as the Staff made sure we were always looked after and enjoyed our experience. Rooms were a good size and clean. There were also accessible washrooms which was a plus for older adults requiring assistance. It was not far from the Atlantis resort where you can shuttle, cab or walk to if you wanted to visit the casino and experience other entertainment options. You could also venture off the resort to Paradise Island and visit the local shops in the Downtown area. Thank you for a great stay. Highly recommended.

Estoy con mi familia en este hotel , vine por 10 dias a pasar año nuevo y contrate el hotel como un resort 5 estrellas con 5 restaurantes y todo lo que significa un hotel todo incluido pero la verdad es que es un Pesimo hotel , dice ser 5 estrellas pero ni se le acerca. Ofrecian5 restaurantes y solo funciona uno con un horario muy limitado , Además despues de 4 dias de estar aca suspendieron el bufet y lo cambiaron por una carta ordinaria de restaurante de cuarta..... cero entetención , comida mala y poca variedad.....MAlo , MAlo , Malo. Si puede evitar venir .... NO venga. Lo peor es que justifican los cambios diciendo que ellos se revervan el derecho de cambiar las condiciones .... o sea ningun respeto por lo que ellos mismos vendieron a sus clientes.... para mi es una estafa Ni siquiera mani tienen para acompañar un trago.... Muyyyyy pero muyyy malo Además las fotos que muestran en la web , no corresponden a la realidad, la piscina no es la realidad...

Serviço do pior que já estive, funcionários incompetentes, sempre indisponíveis, rudes e pouco profissionais. Muitos americanos a beber e a falar alto, musica na piscina sempre aos berros, impossível descansar. Comida péssima à base de hamburgueres, bacon, fritos, sem qualquer qualidade. Dos vários resorts onde já estive, este é o pior de todos. À entrada do hotel na zona da praia há pessoas externas ao hotel a pedir bebidas. Não aconselho.

O hotel é muito bonito, piscina e bar da piscina extremamente agradável. No entanto, falta muita coisa. Não há o que fazer no hotel num dia chuvoso, por exemplo, ou sem sol. Não há um bar no lobby, por exemplo. O bar Calypso, é em um local fechado, escuro. Todos os hotéis categoria 4 ou 5 estrelas possuem mais áreas de lazer, um bar servindo petiscos e bebidas no lobby; uma sala de leitura ou de jogos. Se o hóspede não estiver na praia ou piscina não tem mais nada o que fazer no hotel. Mesmo o lobby não tem nada. Apenas o café. À noite não há nada para fazer ou onde ficar após o jantar,que não seja no quarto. Não existe um bar onde se possa sentar com sua família e amigos , uma música, alguma atração, piano bar....etc. Nada!! Precisa jantar e ir dormir... À tarde, a mesma coisa, se vc sai da piscina no fim da tarde, não há o que fazer. Para fazer algo, precisa ir ao hotel ao lado, o Atlantis. A piscina , apesar de maravilhosa, tem DJ tocando muito algo, de modo que não se pode conversar com sossego. Nada contra música, mas a altura é ensurdecedora, não se consegue relaxar! Um hotel que não aceita crianças, parte-se do princípio que é para os hóspedes terem certo sossego, mas na piscina, a música ensurdecedora não te permite. Enfim...foi frustrante a experiência. Não volto! Já estive em hotéis de categoria 4 estrelas, por exemplo, mas que oferecem muito mais opções e conforto ao hóspede.

We are lucky enough to have travelled in the past. We do beleive that the service and people of the staff are one of a kind. Always being greeted with a smile and a helpful hand. The employees and management were truly very special. Would recomm Food was good, especially the fishes. Although the meals were redondant, the quality was there.

En comparación con otros RIU, es pequeño. A la hora de cenar se complica. Siempre dicen que no hay lugar, si no haces tú reserva a las 17,30 horas. Te corta la actividad o excursión. Es pésimo el sistema para cenar, además solo se puede ingresar hasta las 20,30 ha, luego cierra el restaurante. Es una cadena international????? En cuanto a la animación, no son variadas las actividades.la comida es buena al igual que los tragos. Las habitaciones son amplias, limpias y con frigobar inclusive.

Great personal service. I would recomend to have more variety of music in the bar to serve all ages groups. Also, to be able to make restaurants reservations in advanced that way guess have more time to look around the island and shop. Thanks

The beach !! It's so beautiful. Clear water like no other. I want to recognize the great service received by staff. The property is nice.The guys working outside placing the umbrellas are great! Excellent Wifi. No complaints. Everything it was great ! Thank you very much Riu Palace Paradise in The Bahamas !!!!! We will be back as soon as we can . Keep doing the best for us.

No es lo que uno espera de la cadena Riu. El servicio All Inclusive es muy básico, al punto de que a veces y en ciertos horarios, sólo hay una sola opción de comida salada. Las piscinas son muy pequeñas (1 c/bar). Tienen una especie de "Disco" muy pero muy básica en la cual el Dj repetía la misma lista de reproducción todas las noches (extremadamente aburrido a la 2da noche). La variedad en la comida no es la mejor. La habitación superior es igual a una estandar de otra cadena. Vale aclarar que NO ES UN COMPLEJO HOTELERO, es un hotel con dos piletas pequeñas y servicio all inclusive. La salida a la playa es lo que termina ayudando al hotel.

Nos enteramos que el hotel estaba en refacción, pero la verdad que si lo tienen abierto, deberían seguir atendiendo como si no lo estuviera.1) Atención mediocre: el personal carecía de educación y dedicación. Si bien reconozco que mi inglés deja bastante que desear, no le ponían voluntad. Una empleada cubana nos comentó que en general hay bronca con los latinos, incluida ella como empleada.2) Para la playa todos los días había que pedir las reposeras y la sombrilla. Esto es para que quien las coloca reciba su propina. En un hotel 5 estrellas, esto no se ve bien.3) Cucarachas en la habitación: todos los días le pegábamos un zapatazo a alguna.4) Hotel en refacción: ruidos molestos a horas tempranas. Detalles de terminación descuidados (ejemplo el espejo del baño y los botones del ascensor con las teclas borradas).5) Incumplimiento de horarios: apenas llegamos nos dieron un cronograma con los horarios de los restaruantes y qué lugar estaba abierto según el tipo de comida. Más de una vez llegamos hasta 50 minutos antes de la hora indicada como de finalización y ya estaban levantando la comida y los utensilios.6) Última noche con problemas en la habitación: la última noche que dormíamos en Bahamas, se nos inundó el baño por una pérdida que venía del piso de arriba. Llamamos a administración y media hora después vino un maestranza a revisar el problema. Se fue y no volvió más. Bajé a recepción y tardaron más de media hora en encontrar una habitación de reemplazo. Tardaron más de 1 hs y media en darle solución al problema, acortando sustancialmente las horas de sueño previo al vuelo.7) Exigencia fuera de lugar: para entrar a ciertos restaurantes, exigían pantalones largos. Si bien a mi parecer en un lugar caribeño es una ridiculez, el hotel no estaba a la altura de exigir nada de eso.
