The location of this hotel is great. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. A lot of great places are at a walking distance, if not you can catch the metro from the station across the road. The staff is very helpful I have always enjoyed my stay at this property.

The hotel is nice and well positioned. My room was clean and of a decent size, also the restaurant for breakfast had a big selection of food and drinks. Nice the Jazz Club restaurant and the atmosphere. My only disappointment was the service: you could tell that the personnel was trying its very best, they were kind, spoke several languages and had a great will to help but they were slow and probably not too well organized because it took me almost 1h to check in. They apologized and offered a nice present for the inconvenience but I feel an hotel of that level should offer a better service. I’ll go again anyway, I am sure they will I o ti be.

One of the worst hotels we've ever had. Firstly, when you enter the lobby, there's 3 or 4 security men, who's seemingly only job, is to intimidate you. Why are they there ? Why are there so many ? My family and I did not feel protected, but intimidated. Secondly, we went to order a cup of tea, and they wanted to charge OVER 8 DOLLARS. For a cup of tea... That's hot water and a tea bag. Greedy management. Thirdly, the house keeping seemed to do whatever they wanted. After the room was 'cleaned,' we'd come back to see they hadn't given us more toilet paper, or that they'd forgot to give us hand soap, or they would leave all the trash cans full. We had several experiences like this here. Le Meridian Etoile is only there to make money. You'd enjoy your trip much more in a hotel where money doesn't come first. I'd rather spend more on the room, and then be treated like a human, and not like a wallet.

The Hotel was very packed.We had to wait 30minutes for our room. The staff came with small boxes of chocolate as Service Recovery. F&B Manager Gaultier later gave us a Euro10 voucher for use in the hotel, which was a good touch. Second time here and there was no 'Do Not Disturb' Sign for us to place at the door if we do not want any cleaning service. I asked the Housekeeping staff of they have 1, and she went to her cart and just shrugged her shoulders telling me she doesn't have one.I persisted and she just said don't have.I have to ask her 'How do I get a sign for my room?' She finally said she will hang one later.Which she did, when I am back from Breakfast. I would have appreciated it more, if she would have said she will bring me one, when I asked. Breakfast Buffet Spread was ample.Even though it would be nice to have more Hot food. The staffs were struggling with the many guests. However, I was quite annoyed when they cleared my table when I went for my second round.I did not fold my napkin and I placed my cutlers on my serviette neatly. Later on, I think the floor manager just took 1 of my chair without even asking me.That was quite unexpected from Hyatt Regency!!

Stayed 2 nights in the Senior Suite at this hotel. I have a titanium membership and got an upgrade using a suite upgrade voucher. All in all, it was a very disappointing stay. I have stayed several suite in different countries, but this is the worst room ever. Upon check-in, the front desk staff said that they would provide a room with a very good view. But I couldn't see the view from any window in the room. There doesn't seem to be anywhere to expect a view from this hotel. This is a suite room only in its name that is used to connect 2 regular rooms. Therefore, the space cannot be used properly and the door connecting the rooms does not open wide, making the space even smaller. The sofa is skinned, reminiscent of a cheap motel. The drawer on the desk went all the way out and smashed my foot. The security latch on the door was broken and could not be used. As it is a convention hotel, there are a lot of group guests, and as a result, the breakfast was a mess like a food court in the market. Coffee had to be pulled in line and the food ran out quickly. I tried different time zones for two days to avoid the crowds, but it is no use. After 2 nights, I requested late check-out, which was guaranteed to Titanium members. As the hotel is a convention hotel, he said that it was not applicable and that he would provide a room for a short stay as an alternative. The more outrageous experience starts here. The temporary room I was given was a more modernly renovated room than the suite. Even this room is quite big. This hotel gave me a very unpleasant experience.
