“I went for a workout in the fitness center and it turned out to be an exceptional fitness and customer service experience. A good workout changes my day, so when I'm on the road it's the first thing I do. At the end of my workout, there was a guest in the gym who was being extremely rude, tying up several pieces of equipment and not letting other guests use them. He said, it's not your personal gym and you'll have to wait until I'm done working out. Even when I asked to work in, this guest said no. I went to the fitness center staff member, Andre, and asked if he could intervene. He went over and talked to this guest, but also asked me what I liked to do as far as workouts. Andre then spent about half an hour leading me through one of the best workouts I've had in a long time. What a tremendous asset to have on staff. Andre was the perfect mix of diplomacy and customer service, while diffusing a very frustrating experience. You don't find a lot of people going above and beyond these days, so I felt compelled to write about an exceptional customer service experience. Thank you Andre, you should be running this place :)”
