Es un hotel lindo, pequeño y familiar con habitaciones muy cómodas, para mí ese es su punto con mayor encanto y más positivo. Lamentablemente la atención (que para mí es un punto fundamental) opaca un poco sus bondades. Se nota mucho la diferencia con otros Royal en los que me aloje. El personal es poco predispuesto y bastante limitado en su trato comparando con otras experiencias en la cadena hotelera. Sumado eso, el restaurante que tiene supuestamente abre hasta las 22, pero a las 21:30 ya están empezando a cerrar, entonces uno está cenando mientras te están apurando para que te vayas media hora antes del horario de cierre 'oficial'. La comida muy básica lo mismo que las opciones de atracciones para niños, que son prácticamente nulas. No es que no lo recomiende, considero que tiene muchos puntos a mejorar y espero que esta crítica resulte constructiva ya que si el personal tuviera mejor trato, el hotel sería mucho más interesante como opción de alojamiento.

The staff is very nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable for a family of 6 for a two bedroom bathroom suite. The restaurants were accommodating with many of our special requests. My biggest issue with this hotel is that the activities for teens is lacking and there is no entertainment.

The place more laid back than the Royal Sands. It is also has calmer waters for little ones and those with issues to enjoy the warm ocean. The food is just as good and the staff is amazing! Just a nice place to kick back and watch the large boats come in and out. You can also use the available water equipment to enjoy the ocean.

The place is marvelous. Food is superb and beach is beautiful. Small comfortable resort and the rooms are big two bedroom with lots of space. Service is great. We will definitely return again

Love this place! The sports desk was the best part. They have everything! Snorkels, golf clubs, tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, bumper pool, board games, water volleyball, soccer... Love the beach and pool here. Javier on the beach treated us like VIPs. Patricia the waitress on the beach worked so hard to take care of us. And the food was great at both restaurants. We'll be back!

Pésimo! El Check in es a las 4, me pidieron. Regresará a esa hora y me entregarían habitación, son casi las 5 y me dicen que aún no me la pueden entregar porque No está lista y que no pueden apurar a las camaristas! Pésimo! Y es más no me aseguran a que hora me la pueden entregar! Nunca había visto algo así en hoteles de Cancún! Poco fiables

We had a really bad experience in this Hotel. Rosa Dorantes (the manager) gave us horrible customer service. We planned our vacation according to the information that was given from them on the phone. Once we got to the hotel everything changed. They were charging extra fees and wanted us to pay a whole week when we just wanted to stay a couple of days (we asked this before our trip, they said it was ok to do this with no extra fees). We ended up paying $300 dollars extra and on top of that we had to make another reservation with another hotel to stay there for the other 2 days. I feel so bad for my sister who became a member of this hotel. One more reason to stay away from timeshares.... they are liars........ you do not really getwhat you paid for.

My family has been visiting Cancun around Thanksgiving for years, we always stay at the Royal Cancun. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating and kind. The food is always delicious, they keep everything clean and the beach is fabulous because Isla Mujeres guards it from any major waves. It's great for snorkeling and paddle boarding. We have never had a bad experience here.

A truly great experience. The royal Cancun had clean rooms great staff. The food and drink at the resort were fantastic as well. We couldn't have asked for a better experience for our first time at an all inclusive.

Wonderful, low key resort. Staff is great, we've been going there for 7 yrs now, and the resort never lets us down. Beach is great, if you can find a free palapa, and the reason being, people go down at day break, and mark their territory by putting towels on the loungers. Happens at the pool as well. Very annoying behavior for the "owners" (which my in laws are and have never marked their territory). Aside from that, it's a wonderful place.

My three girlfriends and I went to Cancun for the first time together for a mini girls vacation! We had an absolute blast! We were there from Thursday-Monday. Everything from the transportation from the air port to the hotel and the whole resort was wonderful. Jose at the front desk was so nice and Jeremias who was the bell boy was an absolute sweetheart! He helped us with everything! From our restaurant reservations and recommendations, to the shuttle to the sister hotels and recommendations for shopping! We had to get a picture with Jeremias before we left! Our room was very spacious! We had a small villa that had two bedrooms and a Murphys bed so all of us had our own spaces. The food is absolutely to die for! The beaches are beautiful! The staff welcomed us with open arms every time we arrived back from the shuttle and they were so attentive! Aaron who works at one of the little beach bars was a sweetie too! He came and brought us drinks and food and checked in on us routinely while we were at the beach. It was just so fantastic that we would and will be back there one day soon!

Achei um Ótimo resort. Eu e minha familia pegamos um quarto de dois andares que cabiam 6 pessoas. O quarto é super espaçoso e contém uma cozinha completa, uma sala de estar, dois quartos e uma varanda. Esse resort tem uma opção de ser tudo incluso mas optamos para não ser, e ir comer em restaurantes. Ele esta localizado perto de vários restaurantes, e na frente de uma praia linda, quente e com poucas ondas. A única parte ruim dessa praia é que em alguns lugares não da para ficar por causa das algas, mas de qualquer jeito da para ficar muito bem na água. Eles tem atendimento muito bom na praia. Nesse resort tem dois restaurantes, um Italiano e outro de cafe da manhã e lanche. Esse segundo restaurante fica dentro da praia então do restaurante você fica vendo o mar.

Excelente hotel tipo villas... Muy amplio, limpio y agradables anfitriones, las albercas ambientadas con agua tibia y luces de colores, la playa con su oleaje demasiado tranquilo a pesar de que llovía, lo único es que había un poco de nacimiento de alga a la orilla, pero sin problema a unos metros se podía nadar y nada profundo... Con una hermosa vista, ya que está cerca el embarcadero en playa tortuga, conbarcos piratas (bar), que en la noche paseaban y su espectacular iluminación nos llenaba la vista... Sin lugar a duda una excelente ubicación, Gracias a los anfitriones... Sin duda Regresaremos...!!!

Todo muy bien, desde el check in hasta el check out todo excelente. Personal amable, las villas son muy cómodas y completamente equipadas, la playa no es la más bonita de todo Cancún pero está bastante bien. Me gustó mucho que después del check out si tú vuelo sale más tarde puedes seguir haciendo uso de las instalaciones (excepto habitación) hasta que sea hora de irse, también con tu tarjeta tienes acesso a las instalaciones de el resto de los Hoteles de la cadena Royal y tienen un shuttle que te lleva de uno al otro. 100% recomendable para familias.

Excellent stay as usual, we booked it first by chance 5 years ago and been coming back every year since. Fernando the waiter at Palapas is the embodiment of Mexican curtesy and friendliness.He is always smiling and attentive to the guests needs. Another shout out to Jose at check in who went above and beyond to accomodate us. Overall many thanks to every single staff on the resort for keeping the resort pristine and making is feel right at home. Best place to stay for families as the resort's private beach overlooks the calmest ocean water shallow crystal clear and perfect for young children to enjoy.

el personal parece Siempre estar de malas , cero actitud de servicio. Las habitaciones hechas a medias Llegamos al bar y estaban las mesas sucias , pedimos sanitizantey el mesero no sabía si tenían. Es el primer año qué pasa esto del personal y es muy desagradable , no se que pasa . Hay MUCHOS hoteles que brindan el mismo servicio pero con el personal amable ! El hotel bien en gral . En cuanto a instalaciones. Pedí un hot dog con queso y me Traen queso panela rayado 🤷🏼‍♀️

This was my family and I’s first stay at an all-inclusive and this was by far the best experience ever. The resort and beach are gorgeous and all of the workers were extremely helpful and kind. Our villa was cleaned everyday, the food was amazing as well as the drinks. They also offer paddle boarding and kayaks on the beach as well as many fun excursions. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend choosing this resort and I will definitely be returning soon!

We had our sister's trip here. We absolutely loved it! Just the right balance of tranquil and fun. Carlos and Roberto, the bartenders, made sure our cups were never empty and were always ready with an array of fun shots.Our housekeeper, Carmen Lopez, was great as well. She even managed to find a pair of sunglasses that I was sure were forever lost. The cleaning/sanitation measures were thorough and consistent. I wasn't concerned about Covid at all. Overall, I highly recommend

So this resort is nice but not comparable to other resorts I've been to. There's no nightly entertainment, not many activities during the day.. But it is beautiful. Great service in the buffet. We had Abel and Hector and Miguel. All would remember us from previous days and know what we wanted. Leslie was our concierge and she was lovely. The female activities girl was great Water aerobics Food and drinks were great. Italian restaurant was great. Mexican restaurant over at the royal Sands sister property was amazing

La Villa en las que nos hospedaron estaba increíble. Todos los servicios esperados y mucho mas. Los muebles resaltan cantidad, son de Mérida por cierto! Las instalaciones en óptimas condiciones, la piscina impecable. El servicio muy bueno, el personal muy bien. Sin dudarlo recomiendo este complejo.

Perfect place to swim in the beach, best beach from the zona hoteliers. Hands down... Just stay away from the hotel concierge. All they want to do is sell you a timeshare at ALL COST. They will not stop bordering & insisting.

Great Resort. The villa was impressive, with 2 seperate rooms and beachfront. The room service is great and the resort service as well. What it lacks in a beach with waves, it makes up by allowing to visit its other locations with better beaches and entertainment. I enjoy my stay and would stay again..

I really don't know where to begin. They are excellent! The food is great. The service is amazing! Everyone is so nice & always ready to help. The sand on the beach awesome: very fine & doesn't stick to your skin or clothing. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids, & the whole family had a blast. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great, family friendly yet still party'ish environment. Excellent!

Localização é ótima, acomodações otimas . Comida é boa . Porém diz que tem diversos restaurantes, só que outros restaurantes não ficam no mesmo resort, vc tem q pegar o ônibus para ir até o outro hotel da rede. Lugar pra gente de mais idade e que não quer agitação , pq as atividades que fizeram lá foram o bingo na piscina e hidroginástica

Excelente hotel. Ambiente familiar, instalaciones en muy buen estado, cómodas, modernas y funcionales. La arquitectura del edificio muy linda. Espacios comunes entretenidos y cercanía de facilidades dentro del hotel. La comida excelente, gran variedad de platillos y el personal del hotel super amable; nos trataron de lujo. One of the best resorts in Cancun. We had an amazing time staying at the Royal Cancun. It has two large pools, an amazing beach, multiple restaurants and sports bar, convenience store, gym, and more. Our room had s complete kitchen, with toaster, coffee maker and microwave. Food at drinks at the main restaurant, La Palapa, was always amazing. The private beach was perfect, water was always clean, not wavy, and enjoyable to swim in. In summary, you should definitely come here if you ever travel to Cancun.
