“My family and I stayed here Christmas Eve 2022 and had a mixed experience, even not considering the high price (of $1,200 USD a night / 70,000 points) for a basic room w/o breakfast. To start off with the positives, the hotel decor on Christmas Eve was amazing, the Christmas Tree, lights, fireplace, etc. and they even had a Santa! This hard product is done really well at the RC Osaka. We ordered room service (and although this was a big mess which I'll get to later) the food was delicious. We ordered the set menu with a ceasar salad, soup, and beef tenderloin, with a dessert. Everything looked amazing and was well plated, albeit very small portions as one would expect, it was delicious. Now to the "okay, but needs improvement" section. Firstly I would like mention that the TV in the room, while nice and new doesn't have the ability to cast / airplay anything. It's obviously a new, smart Panasonic TV that has this ability, but it's been disabled by RC and only allows very basic TV shows, huge waste. Next is the bed, which is very hard and no pillow menu was offered. While there were branded pens / papers, etc. in the room, the slippers provided were some of the cheapest I've ever seen? The bathroom was okay, as were the provided soaps / bath salts, nothing special though. Also just to mention, I stayed in the basic / lowest floor possible / King Deluxe Room on the 24th floor. I'm a Gold Elite Member for which I received no upgrade. Finally the bad / definitely needs improvement section. As I have a 2 year old, I would never dream of running someones Christmas Eve dinner at one of the restaurants, so we ordered room service. To start off, the phone in the room is incredibly hard to hear the other person talking which didn't make it easy to place an order. When I placed the order (at 5:30PM, I was told it would be 45 minutes to an hour, to which I replied no problem, and I would like it scheduled for 7PM. This time was confirmed and I was told it would be + / - 15 minutes of this time. At 7:30 the food still hadn't arrived so we called and checked on the order, big surprise - the line was unreachable. After multiple attempts and calling the front desk we finally received our order over an hour late, just after 8PM - the food was food, but wow so late! Long story short, I used 70,000 points to stay here and feel it was a bit of a waste, and under no circumstances would I stay here paying over $1,000 USD a night for a basic room.”

“Excellent hotel decor and professional staffs and service. My wife, daughter (6 years old) and myself stayed at Ritz Osaka for the last day of a one-week trip in the Kansai area. My daughter said this is the best stay ever comparing to the hotels in Kyoto area. As a Platinum elite member, the hotel upgraded the room to a corner larger room with awesome city view of Osaka. The room staff paid very good attention to details such as the flower in bathroom, placing the slipper aside the bed. My daughter was highly pleased by getting her own slippers, sleep wear and bathing supplies. We checked in early. While we are out for sightseeing after checking in, the room staff organized the room again. The warm thoughtful mindset of staff was seen by wrapping our iPhone charging cord. The staff in the fitness center provided her a can of apple juice after playing in the pool. The lobby staffs and manager were very friendly. Staff was playing with my daughter while checking in. It was an awesome memory for us to stay in this hotel and we will definitely stay here again.”
