“The hotel is beautiful, the amenities are plentiful and in great condition, location is great, employees are always pleasant and helpful particularly during the Friday night Linner event, and food at the restaurant and for breakfast was great. Only one point that was off putting, after breakfast every table is handed a bill to sign for the tip and while the service is good the breakfast is a self serve buffet with minimal service so it seems strange to chase tables down to bill them for a tip, particularly at a 5 star hotel that includes a customary tip that’s already added onto the hotel checkout bill, many tables seems confused by this at breakfast. This is not to say that you shouldn’t tip, but I would hope that the hotel is paying the employees well enough so that they don’t need to depend on tips at every interaction with guests.”
