“Great place to stay. Had so many mixed reviews, had low expectations. But the place is great! Room was great-stayed on pool side. All rooms except for end are ocean view. Bar & mini fridge always stocked. Buffets were always plentiful. Breakfast at next door Riu Palace actually better. Beach & pool- get a chair early or else. No complaints!”

“We had a great vacation. The hotel is 100% outdated. The rooms need a serious upgrade. The pools are feeling old. The food was phenomenal every single day. The service was exceptional at all times.”

This resort has a fabulous location and the staff are absolutely wonderful. They truly want you feel pampered and are so approachable and friendly. Loved how Riu Palace is available and steps away. Food and service way wonderful. I would definitely come back.

Everything was absolutely beautiful! The view of our room (1404) was amazing (however, construction was happening outside during the day) I believe the best meal served is the 1st meal (breakfast). Service was excellent! Staff is very pleasant and attentive. PLEASE IF YOU GO, PLEASE TIP.... The staff work hard for your happiness.

I highly recommend this adult only all-inclusive resort! It was an absolutely amazing week. We met so many great people and the workers go above and beyond for everyone! The rooms were beautiful and cleaned within hours of leaving to go to the breakfast buffet with spectacular options for breakfast. Lunch daily was also amazing with so many options. Dinner again, was really good with options and if you decide to eat in town also many many options within walking distance of the hotel. So much entertainment daily and a lot to do! I cannot wait to go back!

We have stayed at Riu resorts JV the past and this was our best stay yet. The rooms were renovated and very clean, service was great, food was excellent. We ate at the Steakhouse and Crystal and both were restaurant quality dinners. The buffet was good and on par with other hotels. The Palace next door had a lot more action if that is what you are looking for. Their pool always had music and activities going on where the Antillas was a bit lower key. We played beach volleyball every day in the morning and the. At 4pm. The only negative is they are doing construction next door for the next 18 months. They work from 7-5 weekdays. If you are on an even room you have a great view but noise very early. We switched to an odd room and had a limited view but much more relaxing visit. Overall the best Riu visit we have had and highly recommend it.

The hotel is beautiful, constantly someone cleaning, working on things and keeping it updated. The bathrooms in public areas were always clean. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and polite. The house keepers did a wonderful job. The Buffett always looked beautiful and food was delicious. Nighttime activities were fun & entertaining. Music throughout the resort was wonderful! Everything was beyond perfect for our honeymoon!

A vacation is what you make out of it. If you show up looking for a good time and not looking to complain about a inconvenience then you will have a blast. It’s within walking distance of fantastic shopping experience and off resort restaurants. The food will be fantastic at the resort staff are so helpful the bar tenders are fast and happy to be doing their job. The beach and ocean are not over crowded and you can get floating mats and snorkels to play with on the beach for free. Room are cleaned very well everyday and very modern looking. Plenty of things to keep you busy in a day. There is some construction going on. ITS NOT THAT BAD PEOPLE! Loved this resort and wouldn’t of wanted to spend my honeymoon any other way.

I'd go back in a heartbeat. The staff was courteous, the rooms were elegant and the construction was minimal. This was by far one of the best hotels at which I've had the pleasure of staying. We stayed there late October.

NIGHTMARE HONEYMOON!!!! This place in under major renovation and should not be open to the public!!!! Constant noise from jackhammer from 7 am to 7 pm. Their only solution is to play Latin dance music at deafening decibels. So no peace or tranquility whatsoever. Plaster dust is everywhere. EXPOSES WIRES EVERYWHERE!!!! If this was the US OSHA Would have the place shut down to tourists. My wife had a bathroom fixture break off and smash her foot because it was not properly attached.

We admittedly had a bumpy start to our stay here. We checked in, had to go back and forth with the staff to change rooms, and finally were able to the night we checked in. All that aside, we truly enjoyed our stay here. The property is gorgeous. Plenty of pools to choose from, if you choose not to partake in the crystal clear ocean water. The food is amazing. Numerous restaurants to choose from, and the buffet for dinner is varied and delicious. And the entertainment? Randy from the entertainment crew is worth the price of admission. He is hilarious and energetic. Someone needs to give him a show.

Nice hotel, Staff very friendly and great customer service. Manager walks around and great folks and hold nice conversations with you. Inclusive is great. All the food you want and taste superb. Rooms are large. Next door to hotel construction going on for another hotel but could not hear anything with sliding door closed. Beach and pools are great. I enjoyed it. Again staff was so kind and supportive.

(my trip was 11/2016) Even tho I had a great time in Aruba and this hotel is very neat, clean and well located, I was still disappointed in the entertainment and food options or lack there of in this hotel. I was there 7 days and 3 days there was nothing to do at night, the pool and beach close at 7pm, they have 1 club that was closed 2 nights so be willing to go off the resort for some entertainment and more food options which defeats the purpose of an all inclusive hotel, this hotel is mainly for relaxation. The food was great and the people was nice. I had a necklace stolen out of my room from one of the maids and the hotel didn't seem to care so I recommend to anyone do not bring any expensive jewelry or electronics without a way of locking them up while you are not in the room. Aruba is a beautiful island you will enjoy yourself, I will return but I don't think I will stay here again only because the fun I had was away from the resort so in my opinion an all inclusive hotel isn't necessary . This is the only all inclusive hotel on the island.

I thought the staff here were all wonderful. We were greeted and welcomed right away with champagne. All food places we visited on the resort were amazing. This resort is a great location and beautiful beach. No complaints and plan to stay here on our next visit.

After being married for 12 years and not having a honeymoon, we decided to finally take a vacation just my husband and I. Our travel agent selected this resort because many of her clients, when coming to Aruba, chose this resort.Likes: The grounds. It was extremely welcoming. The pool area was very nice, breezy, and gorgeous.Dislikes: The room. Prior to coming I read so many mixed reviews on the rooms- from being dated and gross, to super clean and amazing. I figured I would just have to wait and see. In my opinion, it was dated and needed a good scrub. It was musty, but I get that. Its very humid there so that is completely understandable. One thing I despised the most was thetr was a door joining our room and a strangers. 8 have stayed in multiple resort before and this has never bothered me. There was about 1- 1.5in gap at the bottom of the door. You could hear every single noise made in that room. Which made me extremely uncomfortable at 6AM. While I know maybe people are enjoying their vacation, I certainly don't need to make woken to people enjoying it to the max.The food was good but it got boring after day 3. Don't get me wrong, it was very tasty but the menu in the restaurants is the same, with the exception of the "specialty". If you get their at a reasonable time, we never had to wait.I read that getting a palapa in the morning was near impossible, and it was. That really didn't bother me as much. We enjoyed sittingby the pool.Overall,I would rate the resort a 3. It was just OK. If we were to go back to Aruba, which I hope to, we will look at another resort.

This was our first time to Aruba and wanted an adult only stay.We had an ocean view suite which was very dated and faced the Rui Palace which at night had entertainment from 8:30-11:30 which was located outside in the Palace and it was so loud in your room that you couldnt sleep. The suite was very dated and had adjoining rooms which you could hear the person next to you.The food and bar service was very good, however, the theme restaurants don't take reservations so you had to stand in line early to get in.They shouldn't allow towels to hold chairs. We could be at the pool by 9 and every chair was reserved with a towel. Some of those chairs were never used until late afternoon. We had a nice time but for what we paid we did expect a updated room.If we would come back we would request a Jr. Suite which was a beautiful room but it's just a room not 2 spaces .

We stayed at the Riu Antillas last week for our honeymoon. It was truly the best week of ours lives, we enjoyed every single second we were there. The hotel and grounds are impeccably well maintained and spotless. The service in every aspect was top notch, from the pool and beach staff, to the bartenders, to the buffet servers. The food options in the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets were endless. The "chill out" bar was our favorite place to "chill out." Bartenders Jerry & Carlos were the absolute best! The only item some may find as a "con" is the specialty restaurant situation. They do not take reservations, as it is first come first served. If you exclusively wish to have a sit down, served dinner, I would not book at this hotel. However, we ate at two of the specialty restaurants, and although it was a great experience, we truly preferred the options at the buffet. We cannot wait to return again!

The service was amazing. The manager consistently checked on or group of 7 regularly. They accommodated us all with ease. We're did have to go off site for entertainment most days. The whole island it seemed closed at 6pm. The whole island is Catholic except the Haitians that live there. The excursions were fun and my first snorkeling experience was here. The guide took good care to be aware of who couldn't swim. He taught us that in salt water our bodies are designed to float much easier than in fresh water. So learning to swim is easy. They definitely need to designate a smoking section. While in the pool there was a lot of smoking and for those that don't like the smoke or have asthma or any other condition couldn't truly enjoy the pool. The food was decent. The steakhouse was my favorite. They really really should broaden the music range because I don't want to hear anymore Bruno Mars for a long time! The nightly shows was something to look forward to.Carnival show was the best.I would definitely go back given the chance.

The Island is beautiful however we realized on this vacation that we have “outgrown” an “all inclusive.” The wine is cheap and only “white or red” is served. The food is all flavored noodles, pasta and tasteless salads. The music is constantly booming from 10 am to 11 pm meaning there are 3 venues booming different genres at the same time, while bingo is taking place. Our room with a balcony overlooking the ocean was obnoxiously loud ALL THE TIME! The hotel needs updating and the halls reekof mustiness. Absurd that all this noise and nonsense is meant to entertain adults. All I want are ocean waves, goodfood and a sense of calm. None of that was found here. To take a beautiful island and contaminate it with noise and cheap thrills is not my idea of a good vacation.

Some girlfriends and I (9total) took a girls trip here in November of 2019 and had an absolute BLAST! Gave only 4 stars because of the rooms(they could use some updating)! The rooms could use some upgrades and changes, but other than that, my girls and I had THE TIME OF OUR LIVES!!Nelson, Cristian, Gregory the manager, Shaquille, Luis, Amanda, Stephanie, Glen, and the entertainment crew the bingo/games girls made the trip SO MICH FUN!!!’ From the pool games with the entertainment crew to the GREAT drinks by Nelson, Greg, Luis and Shaquille, we could not get back here quick enough! Such GREAT hospitality! We have already booked our trip Back to the resort for 2020!

Stopped here and got a “Resort for a day” all day inclusive pass. Had a great time! Nice, very clean, friendly. The food was definitely above average. Drink selection was decent but only a few types of beer available. Pool bar was nice, lots of seating and could always find a chair whether in the pool area or on the beach. Sand was smooth and very nice. Make sure sure sure if doing a resort for a day pass that you’ve got your ID or drivers license for everyone visiting or else they will turn you away.

Staff everywhere was great, from the beach to bars, entertainment, lots of fun!Food was great for the most part, presentation of food especially desserts, chocolates and the Seafood was fantastic!BUT,Sharing the low rate/REVIEW to warn those of you with respiratory conditions such as asthma, allergies or low immune systems to avoid this Hotel. We did express our concerns in different ways with no response re, pretty serious. As soon as we got off the elevator at the 14th, the musty moldy air hit our airways resulting in asthma attack!Quickly got worse to a point we had to leave our vacation a day early. Responsiveness to the air quality in hallways was neglected by the hotel and RIU corp.I don't believe it will change until the hotel is fully renovated (as planned). We observed that they make due by rotating the air circulation from one area, then another, to compensate for poor and outdated HVAC systems which makes even the healthiest sick.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel riu in Aruba. The room overlooking the ocean and pool was beautiful. However the bathroom needed to be remodel ed. The toilet was so low . It was hard to get up. The buffets were excellent especially the omelets. The French Italian and arubian restaurants offered small portions of food. We like the steakhouse the best especially the lobster. The nightly entertainment was good but it needed a little more variety

Just came back. Weather is perfect. Love it there will go back. Food was great. Rooms need updating but they are updating within one year. Pool was very nice. Employees were welcoming and accommodating. It is great because it is adults only but you can use facilities at the Riu Palace next door. Safe to walk around town!

The service was excellent, the rooms were comfortable and clean there weren’t any outlets near the bed for charging devices and the bathroom floor was out dated but our partial ocean view made for a fabulous view of fireworks around the island. The Restaurant’s staff were excellent and the food was pretty good, there was variety in the types of food. The entertainment nightly was pretty good as well especially the Tina Turner performance! New Years celebration and staff appreciation was definitely a highlight.Overall, I’d visit Aruba again and this property as well.

If i could give 10 stars, i would! We chose to do day passes here (30-something husband & wife and older mother in law and aunt). We got there a little late and there were no lounge chairs left around the pool. A staff member was able to collect 4 for us and put them all in a shady area. Service was fantastic. Bartenders constantly roved around and got drink refills to us. They also handed out jello shots and fresh fruit. It was quick, done with a smile, and they remembered our orders after the first round. They had entertaining activity staff running events all day with admirable amounts of energy in such heat. The pool has a swim up bar. The access to the beach and ocean were close enough for my motherin law woth COPD to make the walk without help. The included food was quite good. Overall, it was a beautiful place to do a day pass, and we would certainly return!

To precursor this review I will disclose I’ve stayed at numerous Riu hotels and I am comparing this to others we’ve stayed at. Overall it was excellent. We were in the villas that are located between the 2 Riu resorts and the room was very nice and we had an outstanding view. The food was excellent as usual and they went over the top excellent on New Year’s Eve. I’ll share some pictures of that. This is the first Riu I’ve stayed at with a casino in it and we didn’t even go in that. The bartenders were good but they did have a slightly smaller selection than some of the other Riu resorts. Aruba itself was awesome. Beautiful warm weather every day, blue skies, steady breeze, and safe to travel off the resort.I would highly suggest renting a Honda UTV to explore the island. The reason I specifically say Honda was we saw other people that rented an off brand I’ve never heard of, one that was broke down with the back axle broke off in the middle of the island not close to anything and I would hate to be in that spot. Renting one you can just drive wherever is much better than doing the tour though. There is a lot of dust you can avoid not being in a group and you can go wherever at your own pace. The restaurants were all good but we really liked the Aruba restaurant. It was less popular for some reason than the steak house but the food was awesome and you could get steak and lobster there.

One of the best vacations I've ever had anywhere. We stayed at the Adults only Riu Palace Antillas, all inclusive, and cannot wait to visit again soon. Celebrated my milestone Birthday here. Thanks to the exceptional service, warm welcome, and countless kind gestures, and wonderful treatment from the entire staff here at the Riu. A special Thank you goes to the general manager, Justin C. He was one of the nicest guys we have ever met. (Shout out from the Ry-High group). Truly provided the reference level of exceptional service to our family, and all other guests staying at the Riu Palace Aruba. The food, restaurants, drinks, beach, pool, and activities were all flawless. I especially enjoyed the Steakhouse, buffet, live Piano and music in the buffet, and the Palm beach water was just gorgeous. A really special vacation at a truly beautiful resort. I'd recommend requesting no adjoining rooms (unless you have children in the separate room), and pay for the ocean front, or ocean view and request a higher floor. It's totally worth it. Thanks again Justin and the entire staff at the Riu Palace Antillas Aruba for a wonderful birthday vacation.

In sum up , I would give this property a 5 star . Service is amazing , people are friendly . Food is okay . Presentation could be better but is has enough variety . Servers are polite and friendly . We had a bad luck and ocean was not clear blue and it was wavy , that is why I think for the price we paid ( I care about the beach ) I could go to Negril Riu palace . Wow they have the best beach there . I am here now 18 Jan 2020 and we leave tomorrow but I heard the ocean will be calm from next week . Rooms can for sure have use a Reno . They r clean but older . We stayed on 1803 and got a free upgrade ( thank you Riu management ) in total this is a really nice place . I wish we had a better beach experience .

We stayed here from the Jan. 6 to Jan. 13. I am so disappointed in the room we were assigned. It was full of mold. The dresser drawers were so smelly, that I had to close them right away. We ran the air conditioning all day, but nothing helped. I was sick as a dog for two days, until we were moved. We have pictures of the mold and forwarded a complaint to the complaint department only to be told that it should be expected when travelling to any Caribbean resort. We were encouraged to put in a complaint at the hotel upon our return. I lost at least three of my vacation due to being sick from mold. I’ve never been so disappointed in a vacation as I was at the Riu and wouldn’t ever spend another dime going to their resort ever again. Absolutely no customer service. They have a PR person going around asking how you are enjoying your stay and actually telling us that they’re well aware of the mold issues and that within two years, they will be doing extensive renovations. We also met other couples who had to be moved because of mold issues. We were in room 1325. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

We are SO happy with this vacation!! All-inclusive, adults only, we stayed in the villas. We were hoping for a top floor room, which wasn't open at check-in, but they happily moved us the next day when one opened up. The views and pool are beautiful, the food is delicious and the beach is pristine. It's quiet and accommodating - the perfect place to relax!!

My friend and I were celebrating our respective birthday's. I turned 35. We decided on Aruba back in April because of it's accessibility, cost and activities available. From the beginning this all inclusive is impressive. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The buffet had everything and anything you imagine to eat. It was very overwhelming initially. The four other restaurants were just as delicious and exciting to dine in.My suite had a mini bar that was refilled daily which was unheard of to me and my friend. The view was also the best. My view was literally a postcard. There were plenty of boating activities and the reef tour is the best thing out there. I suggest that everyone take full advantage of it. Hopefully they'll bring back the night tour. I heard it was wild out there on the pontoon boat. The resort itself is in close proximity to plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and even a tattoo parlor or two. You can pick up everything Aruba on the strip and even book less less expensive island and ATV tours. The island is already beautiful. The RIU just made it a true worry free fantasy. Thank you for such a glorious experience. I met a lot of fun and friendly people who never were opposed to one more drink. I plan to come back soon and hopefully bring more family so they too can experience what I have.

The stay was great except for the CEILING LEAKING above the bathtub... Im suprised they actually wanted to fix it and still have me stay in the same room, which i told them was ridiculous.. and they fought me on that and then finally moved me to another room after an extremely long wait which was unnecessary. I actually had to give them ideas on what they could do to resolve the issue. The inclusive restaurants were good. Krystals and the seafood place were the better of the 4 main restaurants. Beautiful view from the balcony. I figured for the Premium they are charging they would atleast inspect the rooms before putting people in them. I would probably stay at the RIU Palace Aruba instead of Antillas if I made the trip again. I actually went over there and it looked amazing comparing the two. Only good thing is Antillas is adults only. The staff was not really inviting as i would have hoped we made the best of it.

We did the day beach pass and found the hotel facilities, food, and beverages to be most enjoyable.(The food was outstanding) The beach is well maintained, comfortable chaises, plenty of shade, with very attentive and helpful staff.I found the pool and bar facilities to be outstanding and especially enjoyed the piped in music. The pool area was extremely clean and really really appreciated that there were no kids who often make for an unpleasant experience. What a great afternoon and only wish our ship would have left in the evening so we could have stayed a few more hours.

Animation team excellent even though they do not have enough equipment. Bar staff are very friendly and quick on service. The pool bar area is sometimes closed off when a wedding is to take place although the bar itself remains open which means there is nowhere to sit and enjoy a drink with friends (either pre or after lunch or a sun downer) very annoying.

This is the all-exclusive hotel we stayed when visiting Aruba. There were 4 specialty restaurants which were part of our package. We checked out two of them. There are also other restaurants on the property. The hotel is beautiful. I loved the floors in the rooms. Lots of space for my clothes. Our balcony was roomy with space for two to sit out and enjoy a drink. Our balcony overlooked the outdoor pool but it wasn't noisy. The pool actually closes at 8 p.m. The staff is exceptional. Everyone willing to help. Practically everyone speaks four languages. We took a 'hotel bus" to the marketplace and got some great deals. There was a lot of construction on the island, but it didn't interfere with our visit.

A beautiful location on the beach in Palm Beach. Beautiful pools. Good choices of food at their Buffet's. The female bartenders at the Aqua Bar were not friendly at all, actually mocked us. The Hotel downstairs was nice although the rooms needs a major updating. This is not a place to visit if you want to rest, recoup and relax. Not peaceful and tranquil. Pool music for the 20 something crowd and extremely loud. Not everyone likes Latin, techno club music 12 hours a day. We will not visit another Riu because of this and the the employees. There are other all inclusive Resorts we've been to that was more relaxing and happy to have us visit.

Just returned home after 8 days 11-16-19The rooms werepretty basic, but not a problem as we spent very little time in the room other than to sleep. We were supposed to receive an anniversary surprise, made a call and they brought us a bottle of champagne. The bathroom sink leaked, but not a problem sh%t happens, call the front desk and it was fixed promptly. The grounds and common areas were very nice and always clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurants including the buffet were all well above average. You had to either wait on line or get a beeper for the specialty restaurantswhich resulted in eating later then we normally would, but not the end of the world as we were on Island time anyway. No problem anytime at the buffet. The drinks were suspect but if you asked for top shelf liquor, that seemedto make a difference. If you wanted to get a shade hut at the beach you had to get up early to claim one.Without one the sun onbeach was brutal.Never tried room service, but if you needed anything they would bring it to you promptly. No real issues with drunk/ obnoxious people, everyone was friendly and respectful. My biggest problem was the 24 hour coffee shop / snack bar was not open when I stopped by at 5:45 AM to pick up a snack to take on my fishing trip, but I managed to survive. It's true that Aruba is One Happy Island.Hope this helps.

Excelente hotel.

Riu Palace Antillas was very enjoyable. The staff throughout the resort were FANTASTIC! Very accommodating, and always happy to help us.There were 10 of us staying there and it was hard seating our group together especially at the specialty restaurants, but the hostesses did, at Krystals (we had to seat 6+4, but we were close together, just the layout did not allow such a big party)and Steak House. We mostly ate at the buffet. Food was better than the specialty restaurants in my opinion. The rooms are dated (compared to the other Riu we stayed at), bathroom counter space is limited and the pillows are small. But we know that going in, and we barely stayed in our rooms with all the activities going on.We would stayed at Rui Antillas again, the staff there made all the difference.

It's a great place to stay, right on the beach. The staff were all so nice anywhere you go in the resort. The food was fantastic 👌 in all of the restaurants. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. The daily activities were awesome. The beach and aqua water was breathtaking! We always felt safe in town and at resort or just walking down the beach.I highly recommend this resort and will definitely be returning to this beautiful paradise.

This hotel and resort is a dream come true. Don't think "oh it's all inclusive so they go cheap on stuff' it's the exact opposite. This place is like walking around, feeling like a rich King getting any food or drinks you want and everyone treats you like your the most important person there. ALL the food is amazing, like 5 Star restaurant amazing and the drinks are all fantastic. The rooms are spacious and comfy and the whole place just feels like the staff wants you to have the best time possible every day. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone, it's the best.

First time staying at any Riu hotel and it definitely lived up to all the good reviews and opinions I heard before this trip. We can for a wedding and stayed at the adult-only resort. Customer service was excellent from the moment we got off our shuttle service until we left. The hotel itself was huge and connected/next to the other Riu. It was right on the beach so the views were gorgeous! Also, we were close to the downtown area so were able to walk there a few times during our stay. Since we were there for about a week, we eat at pretty much all the restaurants and I had no complaints. The food was excellent! One of the few resorts that I've been to where the food, even in the buffets, were really really good.Had a great time. Highly recommend this resort!

We just got back from our honeymoon from this place, and we had an AMAZING time. Everyone was super friendly and it was SO clean!! The pools were amazing, the entertainment was fantastic and the drinks were so tasty. The restaurants are fun to eat at and I always felt safe. The rooms are a little outdated, but we had a great view so it didn’t bother us. I would definitely recommend this place for your stay!

So I read many many reviews and got worried about staying here.So here is my review.Ratings -Staff:5 of 5 starsRoom Cleanliness: 5 of 5 starsResort Cleanliness: 5 out of 5 starsService: 5 of 5 starsBeach: 5 of 5 starsFood: 5 of 5 for presentation 4 of 5 Stars for tasteConvenience of eating at the individual restaurants: 1 of 5 starsWe had 3 couples in our group in three different rooms. All were updated, clean, and everything functioned perfectly. Our safe did not work and they sent someone up immediately and replaced batteries and all was good. We loved the 'rain' shower head in our shower. All rooms face the ocean at an angle or straight on so the views were amazing. The beach and pool area were wonderful. We were pleased with everything.A few notes:At all of the resorts the beach furniture is brought in around 8 pm and the pools close then as well.True for all of the resorts. The beach does not close and you can take a nice romantic stroll on the beach at any time.We found the drinks tasty and NOT watered down. The glasses are small and some are flimsy but you can get as many drinks as you want.We recommend taking a nice big insulated plastic glass with lid and plastic straw. You can get however many drinks you want and pour into your own glass. This keeps sand out and you don't have to take trips for beach back to pool to get more.If you want to eat in the individual restaurants, you need to go down about a half hour before opening or you are unlikely to get in. Buffet roomcan always accommodate and we found the food there wonderful.Seats around the pool andon beach fill up fast. So get down to reserve a seat by 7:30.This is true for ALL of the resorts as it would be impossible to have enough room for every guest. My only suggestions:The 24 hour snack bar was not the greatest and needs to be improved.A few of the restaurants require long pants and this is not posted at the door of the restaurant. The live show they had one night was more like counselors at a summer camp putting on a show.Waste of time. Not good at all.Overall we were very pleased with this resort and would definitely go back.We had a great experience.Of note, we were there for New Years Eve and the fire works we could see from our room were nothing short of spectacular. As far as the eye could see unbelievable fireworks. Our mouths were hanging open.Aruba:Love it!Amazing people, fun place, amazing weather.Beaches have amazing sand.We recommend going on the ebike tour and taking one of the boat trips.Very fun, very reasonable price.Great memories. We had to use the urgent care in town and they were fantastic.

The hotel was great. The staff was great. They were accommodating to all of our requests. The dining options were quite plentiful and rather exquisite. Included in the resort (i.e. without having to leave the premises) were multiple restaurants, multiple pools, a gym, a spa, multiple shops, access to the beach, a nightclub, a theater, a casino, and even a 24-hour snack shop.

Awesome place.Great food but beware that they are out of lobster most every night. We were told problem on island.Entertainment is pretty bad.Doesn't help to complain because basically you are told we said food and it could be hot dogs 3 times a day. There is food and what is there is truly delicious!Just know dinner starts at 6:30 and there are no reservations.First come, first serve! However, even the buffet is terrific with a ton of choices.

Hotel staff has great attitude and is always trying their best to help. The room we got (Jr. Suite) is in urgent need of some maintenance. Bathroom door couldn't be closed. Bathtub was in poor condition. No energy sockets were easily reached from bed.The Arubian restaurant and the stake house were great. Highly recommended. The Italian restaurant on the other hand, couldbe called the Italian Disaster. The food was below average, desserts were pretty much inedible. Order was taken wrong, twice....Would go to Aruba again, probably to another Hotel.

I stayed here and had a blast, the resort was brand new at the time as this was a few years ago. The resort next door was under renovations at the time. I have heard it a a little more crowded now. However when I stayed there it was clean, there was tons of restaurants to choose from and the beach was amazing. It was a very enjoyable trip.

Nothing but good things to say here, our first all inclusive.✅ breathtaking views✅ excellent service✅ tons of drinks and food choices✅CLEAN✅ fun activities like pool Zumba, yoga, volleyball and comedy shows. Mariachi bands at dinner even!We spoke with no less than 5 managers while here 5 days who constantly checked in on service. Housekeeping and mini bar service 1-2x/day, room service included as well. Amazing time!

Great place to stay. No complaints!

The staff was proud and hard working. The food is never ending (in the cafeteria style restaurant). The restaurants were hard to get in to The room was tired the beds were comfortable. One of the two rooms we had a freshly painted bathroom door, like you could ruin your clothes (that happened) painted. Our room was nice the view was nice. We had a door that connected to another room. ( A room we requested for another family member but did not happen). We could hear the loud drunks drinking screaming and had no "hotel room" manners. Not the hotels fault, just not cool. Would I go back, not sure, I guess so.

What an amazing experience. For being all inclusive the quality of food and drinks are top notch . all the staff , everyone of them treats you like royalty from the moment you walk on the doors to the moment you leave . I will be staying here for years to come . the rooms may need a slight upgrade but that will not take away from your experience. I just got back home and already booking my next trip in 7 months . see you all soon !!!

This was our first time in Aruba, and we absolutely loved it. Picking in all inclusive resort was a huge money saver, for that the amount of food and alcohol we consumed. The staff were all extremely friendly, especially the pool bartenders, and Randy the DJ/entertainer. They had events going on nightly, as well as couple shows and pool parties. Our room was always very clean, and the views from our balcony were spectacular. There were many restaurants inside the resort it’s self to go eat at, so we didn’t have to go out very often, unless we felt like it. The resort was walking distance from many local shops, restaurants, and even nightlife such as Gusto’s and The Mill. My friend and I are both in our early 20s, so nightlife was a must for us. Not to mention the resort included a 24 hour snack lounge, so we could grab nachos, quesadillas, and wraps or sandwiches at any hour of the night that we returned. Also the beach was right outside of our hotel, so we could just wake up and lay out all day, walk to the pool if we wanted a refill on our drinks, and head right back out. They also offered free paddleboard’s, kayaks, and snorkeling gear with the resort, which we Used to our full advantage. I will definitely be back to Aruba soon, and I will be using this resort again.

Overall, this is a nice resort. We stayed in the Villas. Most reviews already mentioned the beauty of the resort, the amazing perks, and exceptional staff so I'm not going to mention it even though I definitely agree. However, the reason I gave 3 stars was because I paid about $475 extra for the Villas that included a more private area and a jacuzzi tub within the room; and the drain was broken. Regardless, if I opened or closed the drain, it kept draining. I also notified the staff to have maintenance come out 3 times before they actually came for service. When they arrived, they explained how to operate the jacuzzi tub since the initial issue was a stuck button to activate the tubes for the burst. It made sense and we decided to give it another try. Once again, the drain was broken.By the time, they came out and explained, and for us to try it again, it was time to leave. Essentially, the maintenance staff took 3 days to come out and the tub wasn't ready for full use. It just sucked that I paid $475 to not enjoy the jacuzzi tub. That's the only issue we had, other than that it was an awesome resort; 5/5.Suggestion: Please inspect the drain for future guests.

A great place to relax an unwind. Beach is beautiful, however you must rise early (6am) if you want a shaded area, even though there are signs posted everywhere about no saving of lounge chairs and cabanas, everyone does it and you could find yourself without shade if you dont get up and save yourself a spot. Accommodations are modest but rooms are clean and staff is gracious and genuinely happy you are there. Plenty of choices for all appetites on the buffet. We will be back Riu Palace and next time we are bringing our family and friends!!

Such a great find!

Great resort for adults. We honestly had a great time here with multiple options in terms of food, places to visit within walking distance, and nice facilities all around. They have entertainment shows that are a nice change of pace in the evening. The food was amazing, and the sushi bar at the buffet was a welcome touch that would have made my vacay worth it all by itself! I took start off because the in-house disco needs a real DJ... That is a huge miss on their part. Other than that, we loved it.

We stayed for a week, end of February 2018. The room we had was nice, not mind blowing, but still good.Food was also very good, the wait for the regular restaurants was long, line up 45 min early if you want to get seated during the first wave. The buffet is the spot, immediate seating, and the food is great. The staff is excellent, always right at hand asking if you need anything, they're also on top of the drinks. They'll fill whatever cup you want to bring up, plus the mini bar is also free.
