“This is the best hotel in Amsterdam - and quite possibly one of the best owned by Hilton. The building offers an extremely tranquil feel, which is a marked difference from the buzzing Amsterdam. The second you walk in, you are greeted by very welcoming and warm staff. I didn’t stay at the hotel (I actually didn’t know there was a Waldorf Astoria in Amsterdam 😂), I used the spa and peacock alley. The very kind front desk staff showed me around and I was particularly impressed by the bar which is remodeled from the old bank’s vault downstairs. The building has prestigious history which makes the experience so much more special. Every person I met was simply wonderful- professional and great with what they do. A special thank you for Andrea from the Vault bar for looking after me. She makes amazing cocktails! I know where I’ll be staying next time I am in Amsterdam!”
