“I've stayed at this property multiple times over the past twenty years. The location is excellent, in walking distance to River North, Michigan Avenue, Art Institute, the El and much more. This is a quiet, comfortable hotel with friendly, excellent service. The decor is a little dated but in good condition. The rooms with a river view are especially cool, but even if you get a city view it's easy to walk outside and enjoy the views of the river, as the hotel is right on the water.”

“The location is great, easy access to Riverwalk and restaurants. I was able to check in early in the afternoon and went to place some items in the “cooling unit” but noticed it was warm. I attempted to adjust the temperature dial to no avail. I called the front desk and they sent someone from engineering who states the unit is “super old” and there was nothing he could do. He suggested I call the front desk to request a refrigerator which I did. I was informed that all of the refrigerators are in use and I was first on the wait list. I called again the next day and the day after and was repeatedly told that there were no refrigerators available. Unfortunately I ended up wasting a fair amount of food without a proper way to cool leftovers. I do a fair amount of travel and can not remember the last room I stayed in that didn’t have this feature, especially at this price point.”
