“Stay ANYWHERE BUT HERE!! Rooms are Tiny, Dark, Dingy, Dirty and AC does not get cool. We reserved a standard king room on Nov. 3rd &4th. After much complaining and 4 visits by engineers and Supervisors to the room during the night for TV NOT WORKING that they could not fix, at 11pm the overnight Mgr Doug finally offered to change our room to a room that we did not request or want and specifically told us that if we took it, the first night would be at NO CHARGE and that he would make a record of it for management to see. Upon checkout, there was no record in their computer. General manager Abner Withers was non-existent and completely uncaring about his hotel property. It then took numerous calls and messages to reach Operations Manager Lucy Cox Atuana, who was then extremely rude, belligerent, and nasty and extremely un-professional on the phone, decided to hang up on me rather than try to resolve the issue. Upon returning home 2 weeks later, my credit card was not only charged for BOTH nights, but they CHARGED ME for a THIRD NIGHT that we weren't even there for!! I had to dispute everything through my Credit Card and spend even more time making calls to them to get the card changed to prevent this and any further fraudulent charges. I travel all over the country but wouldn't ever stay here again even if it was FREE!!”

“Positives: close to Manhattan, easy to catch bus or train. Plenty of food options available next door/in walkable distance. Negatives: Our room was so close to road, so we could hear train sounds all night. I feel experience/stay for the price paid is not great. Had to wait ~20 mins to get a room even though reserved in advance and had no option to change room as everything was booked and we arrived late.”
